He listened to my concerns and diagnosed the problem quickly. He installed a new capacitor and then checked my furnace and filter as well. • These guys rock! My AC unit stopped working randomly the other day. It was bearable the next day, but after that I just needed to get my unit running again with the stretch of heat we have been getting lately. So after a bit of research I found out my unit needed a new capacitor. Drove down to Banner's parts store, as soon as I came in the guy saw the old capacitor in my hand and before I could even say anything he's says, "Dude, that's a bad capacitor!" The guy at the desk was super knowledgeable, and I was out the door in 5 minutes. From the moment I started working on it, to when I had it all fixed up was under 3 hours. • We called about our A/C not working and had an appointment the next business day. John came out and cleaned & diagnosed our system and when he left, it was working again. However, approximately 3 hours later it wasn't working again. When called, they advised someone would be back out the next day. He quickly found the issue—a blown disconnect fuse—and even had the replacement part on his truck. Within minutes, our AC was running again and the house was cooling down. • Banner is the only place I trust for furnace and AC repair. As a woman, I know that I can be taken for a ride by some of these other companies. The last two times I've had Banner out, the fixes were easy. I have an old unit and I could have been told it needed to be replaced but instead the first time it was my breaker and this last time I was told about the reset button, and Dayton even drew a little arrow to the button for me. He cleaned my AC unit and was on his way. I never write these reviews but I feel like they deserve five stars and then some for their honest work, super reasonable prices, and knowledgeable and friendly technicians (and the staff when you call is super nice too!). He was very friendly, and knowledgable. He oiled my blower part in my furnace that was very hard to reach. He cleaned out the leaves in my unit which I had never had offered from other technicians. He said his motto is to service his customers the way he would do things at his home. He also took the time to answer questions about my furnace as its 30 plus years old and my gas hot water tank.
