• This company has renewed my faith in businesses that are above and beyond incredible! Every single person I have had the absolute pleasure of dealing with, from the owner, office staff, and EVERY technician-have far surpassed the TRUE definition of customer service! They are honest, trustworthy, kind, and I just wish I could give them more than 5 stars! They replaced an entire AC unit at our rental home with ductwork upgrades and correcting electrical issues that were sub-standard in regards to the AC unit and power. They were punctual, thorough, courteous, and genuinely cared about the work they did and my satisfaction! I had them service our primary residence units and once again, surpassed all expectations! I have dealt with a lot of service industry companies in my lifetime and I can't remember a company that surpassed all expectations when it comes to customer service and HONESTY! From the very first phone call, everyone I have dealt with in this company is beyond EXCEPTIONAL! • DO NOT CALL!!!!!! I used before and it was great, I have parts and labor warranty but they didn't instal so they didn't honor the labor. Perfectly okay with that, it was a $90+ fee, parts were covered. Then I had another issue, I could see exactly what the issue was, so I called. This time it took them 4 days to come out, I was stuck for a week with no AC this summer and they took advantage. They would not tell me how much it would cost until they were finally going to replace the part a week after I called. Instead of the $90+ fee, they charged one $90 fee for coming out to look, another $90 fee to order the part, another $90 fee to go pick up the part, another $90 fee to bring the part to my house and a final $90 fee to install the part... My family needed the AC so I paid it, but PLEASE CALL SOMEONE ELSE... They knew my family was suffering for not having AC for a week in the summer so they took advantage, "We have the part and can come out right now and your AC will be up and running in 30 minutes, but it will be $$$$$...."

• These guys came 30 minutes outside of Bakersfield on a Friday, came back to finish on a Saturday in the heat, and dominated the job. • After reading reviews I thought this would be the best company to contact to inspect my A/C and ducting and write a clear and concise invoice. Because I was trying to get a second opinion for my warranty company I needed Benchmark to complete an invoice of both my A/C and ducting. The A/C report was done promptly but on the same report details on the ducting were neglected and I needed clarity and promptness on both for my warranty company in which I was clear to mention the importance of this report to my serviceman. From personal experience I know in order to remember details about an inspection a prompt report is necessary and notes should be taken. I did not receive and update to the invoice even after a month and a half of contacting, so I hired another company and they accomplished what I needed promptly so I could submit the information to the warranty company. I asked for a refund which I thankfully did not receive any hassle over. Nichole the woman who I spoke to many times over the phone for updates was the best part of my experience with benchmark. I cannot recommend this service based on my above remarks, but I do recommend Nichole for her professionalism.
