  • Eric Layne completed the annual maintenance on our generator this week. Eric is very personable and knowledgeable. He completed the maintenance quickly and efficiently. We asked to have the scheduled test time changed and he took care of our request without needing to remind him. Eric is our go to electrician at Blind and Son's.   • Really like Colton, he was very knowledgeable regarding my furnace , explained everything in full detail and did extensive testing to ensure the furnace is working properly. He pointed out a sediment on a pipe for me to keep an eye on, nothing serious. Cleaned furnace and pipes that it looked brand new. Definitely use Blind and Sons for any of their services.

  • Our HVAC system was working properly on the “cool” setting, but nothing working at all when the system was set to the “heat” mode. Hershel arrived at the appointed time & quickly diagnosed the problem. Our three year old thermostat needed to be replaced. Fortunately Hershel had an improved model of the AprilAire thermostat in his service truck. He removed the old thermostat & installed the new one in about 15 minutes. No charge - everything covered under warranty!! Thanks Hershel - great work!!

  • Four years ago, I paid Blind & Sons to install a whole-house generator. Since then, they have failed to keep it level. They had to return a year later to re-level the cement pad. Now that it has failed for a second time, a technician admitted their previous methods were wrong and that they finally 'now understand' the right material to use. The technician also informed me that they didn't dig down deep enough initially. However, Blind & Sons charged me half-price for this new surface. I should not have to pay for a company's learning experience on a major investment. They need to stand by their workmanship and correct this structural failure at zero cost to the consumer. Before paying I asked the electrical supervisor to contact me, but I heard nothing. Beware, if you have a whole house generator installed, you will be responsible if it isn't done right, not Blind.
