We have used Carters for over 20 years. It’s always been a pleasure working them. Cody came today for a maintenance job. He was so professional and did an excellent job! I highly recommend Carters for all your heating and ac needs!

We have been using Carters for about 10 years, give or take. We have always received A+ service! However, recently we had an issue that took an unexpected length of time to fix. This was at no fault of Carters. As my family and I became increasingly agitated at the situation, Holly and ALL of the staff seemed to become more and more patient with us! Their technicians are a cut above the rest! Most companies these days would distance themselves from a customer or just not show up as the problem didn’t occur because of them. Carters not only showed up every time but they explained everything in a way you can understand. Again, the issue wasn’t in any way related to their work but a manufacturer shortcut. I would recommend this company if you want to support an honest hard working reliable company!! Thank you so much for your dedication!

My salon is new. Last year the ac had zero problems. When I upgraded my account unit and spent $900 in the fall I thought everything would be good. I went 5 weeks in the salon without AC, then when the 2 guys that came to fix it. (Mind you it was about 85° in the salon at the time), they first went over the street to bucksnort. An hour later they "fixed" it. And that lasted about 3 days. Then another guy came and said it just needed more freon. This lasted 3 more weeks. And now here we are working in my salon and when its 80° out and I'll go as far and 90° out then its 80° or more in my salon. They have skated around all the issues. (Becuase its under warranty) Im disgusted with the shifty mechanic crap. Warranty work sucks, but im not stupid. My cousin an HVAC tech came in and it took him 20 minutes, because thd problem was just a clogged drain hose. Update: my heat hasnt been working and the maintenance guy came in to let me know the AC was frozen up. I was confused because that $900 piece to prevent it from freezing up was put on my ac. Come to find out they REMOVED the piece I paid for and "scrapped" it when the AC in the summer wasnt working. They now have to do some work on my BRAND NEW furnace so my emergency heat can work since that peice i paid for was taken off. The owner has yet to get back in touch with the property manager.

They are amazing! If you have a geothermal system they are the most knowledgable company in Omaha. I have used several companies and no one else comes close to their knowledgeable service employees. I would strongly recommend Carter's Heating and Cooling . You won't be disappointed. FYI-They do offer a discount if you pre-purchase a summer/winter tune up together.

This company BEWARE they put in a new system for us. Didn’t put it right had to come out and fix and charged us for having to fix their mistake to get it running. Mind you this was a NEW unit they put in and charged us to fix their mistake. They told us it was the underground part of the unit that wasn’t working so we had to hire the company they suggested cost us $300 to have them tell us it was Carters unit so then Carter come out and did flushing out of unit and charged us over $2000 to fix it . Mind you the unit had only been in for a few months when all this took place and has a 10 year warranty. If this is how they stand by their new units this should have been at their costs for not installing the unit properly to begin with. So BEWARE.

Had a great interaction with some of the field techs on a job site today out near Bellevue. Very professional and respectful. I would recommend this company based off of how their techs interacted with me. It's nice to work around other contractors who articulate themselves well and are just good dudes. They also did a quality job. Yall got good techs repping you out there! Give them boys a bonus!

They told us our furnace and heat pump needed replaced for over $11k total. Got another company out that said while the furnace needed replaced, the heat pump absolutely did not and just needed a tune up. $9k difference in price! Do NOT recommend Carter's.

I wish I could give 10 stars! Our AC went out Sunday afternoon and quickly got hot in our house, quick response from Holly to set up them to come look at our old unit, but then we decided to just replace the whole unit instead. I can’t express how appreciative we are with their prompt response and service! Jared came to the house before 7am and had the job done by 10:30am. We highly recommend Carters!

I am so impressed by the service I received. My tech explained everything on my heating and cooling system. Showed me the different components and what they do in relation to my geothermal system. I had several questions regarding the system and he was knowledgeable and answered each one in full detail. I have used other heating and cooling companies and they are by far superior to their competition. I would highly recommend this company.

An AC repair guy came out to check our geothermal unit. He looked it over and told me the refrigerant was low and he was sure there was a leak somewhere. He then told me he wouldn't fill the unit without knowing where the leak was, quoted me a price of $10,000 to replace the coil (labor not included), told me I was welcome to get a second opinion and then left. Well, I got a second opinion. The refrigerant was indeed low but also one of the pump motors was shot PLus the capacitor was shot PLUS the two damp motors were stuck in the closed position and also need to be replaced...Carters missed all of that! It was like they just didn't want our business so they didn't even bother being thorough. Also the quote to replace the coil when it comes to that is less than half the $10,000 the Carter's guy quoted (labor included). Honestly, I would never hire or recommend a company I can't trust and I no longer trust Carters.

Will not service two Geothermal Systems that are 1.5 years old that were installed with a 10 year parts and labor warranty. I paid $50,000.00 for this system. Had them out to fix problems from the beginning multiple times. As soon as it was becoming obvious that they were unable to fix the issues they stopped sending techs out and to told me I had to contact to owner Walter who will not respond to email, or calls. wWe have two children one being only 7 months with heat not working at times since December. It has been almost three months now that they have broken their contractual obligations to the warranty. I have never wrote a negative review before . This is why I have waited this long to to do so with them. I was hoping that Casters HVAC would stand up and take responsibility. I have proof of everything that has been said (video, email, call logs). I won't let this company get away with treating people the way my family has been treated. If you work hard for your money and care about your families well being, stay away from this company. I will not stop until this is rectified.

The vent cap blew off my roof and I was unable to find a company to come and fix the problem. After I called Carter's, Dave had a crew out to my house right away. They did a great job getting the cap replaced. I would highly recommend Carter's.

Yesterday (one of the coldest days of the year so far), I was having heating issues and Carter’s came to the rescue! Dave worked me into his schedule and cleaned my furnace so that my house was nice and toasty when I got home from work. Thank you for your excellent service!
