• My family home used the same Plumbing and HVAC company for over 60 years; by May 2025 we realized we were not receiving proper services and that ownership had changed hands. We then made the decision to find a new contractor and didn't do too well until we were referred to Chris; met with Chris and Yan and explained the predicament we found ourselves in. I was pleasantly surprised to discover when Yan spoke, my neighbour came out and they knew each other and the references were glowing. Chris and Yan were so accommodating and clear in their explanations on what is proper and improper installation. Good sign. I am looking forward to having them as our new boiler contractor!

• I needed a trusted tradesperson to address issues on my new built home (gas smell, deficient BBQ hookup), I asked some trusted friends and they mentioned CDL and how the company had gone above in beyond in furnace install in 2014 and a pool heater repair and gas line up size in 2022. I emailed the owner quickly replied and we set a date. The day of the tech who was an absolute pleasure to speak with on the phone was looking at the pictures o sent over had planned the work and confirmed he had the materials and could address what needed doing. He called well ahead of the scheduled time (good because I forgot they were coming) and more closer to arrival to confirm he was on his way. A clean truck and a nice tech arrived and address my BBQ hookup with ease - clean careful work as if he was working on his house. He sought approval once it was mocked up and was efficient was his time but very thorough in his explanations. He then came inside to address a gas smell, his took his. It’s off outdid and wore slippers, his clothes was clean and he quickly identified what were several issues. He seemingly magically had the parts on the truck to fix it and again explained what was happening in a way that was reassuring, thorough and honest. There’s very few trades that handle things that will actually kill you if done wrong. With CDL I and my family can sleep easy at night. After inconsistent service over years from another company (Ideal) I had someone I trust and will use for all my HVAC needs. What absolute professionals and the absolute standard for anyone who does work in a family home.

• I have a furnace that nobody understands or knows how to fix. It’s a very problematic and frustrating situation. Chris (the owner) response to emails or phone calls very fast and Yanick, the technician, is excellent and very professional. • I stumbled upon CDL HVAC in 2016 when I was looking for a new furnace. Since then I have moved houses and have gone back to them for new AC and heat pump. They provide excellent service, aftercare and communication. The company has grown but Chris is still very available to respond and follow up.
