They were quick to fix my Furnace issue with no issues, workers were fine. Just don't trust them with payment unless the nice billing lady is in office.Gave my information to pay, everything seemed good when the call ended for both parties involved. I didn't hear anything from them for three months until a bill came in the mail saying I owed still.Terrible inter office communication. Thankfully I could still pay not everyone is as fortunate to pay a large bill like that unexpectedly that was supposedly taken care of.

Keith took the time to help us with our heater yet again and I CAN NOT say enough good things about this company. Hands down the very best, I am so very thankful for you guys!! Thank you for always being so fast and efficient. We appreciate you more than words!! *This place is FANTASTIC! I 100% will use them again. On the coldest night of the year so far, of course our furnace had to have issues. I'm not kidding when I say I called about 20 companies to get help fixing it since it was so cold and we have and 11 month old baby. No one made time to call me back except them! They called back so quickly and were so helpful and efficient. They even took time to follow up a week later. I'm very impressed. so thankful for these guys!

Quick response even in the midst of this heat wave we are going through here in late June of 2025. Very reasonably priced. I also personally liked that they have a Billing System so payment can be made out of the LLC and not require a personal form of payment on the spot.

Update (in response to the owner’s reply): I appreciate you responding, but I want to set the record straight: 1. The Gas Leak: You called it “not adequately tightened,” but the reality is that the gas line was leaking for hours while my family was inside. Alliant Energy and the fire department didn’t come out because of a minor oversight—they came because it was dangerous. Downplaying that risk is irresponsible. 2. The Inexperienced Installer: You fired the lead installer after this happened. If it was just a minor mistake, why did you let him go? Clearly, you recognized it was serious. An unqualified installer left a critical gas line unsecured. That’s not a harmless error—that’s negligence. 3. The Invoice & $200 Tip: You mention a “discount,” yet I was never given a proper itemized invoice reflecting it. Instead, I got a vague total with no breakdown of parts, labor, or that supposed discount. You also suggested I hand over $200 in cash as a tip to your techs—off the books. That’s not professional or transparent. 4. The Lawsuit: I asked for transparency. I asked for a clear breakdown of costs. Instead of providing that, you took me to court. You claim I demanded a “free furnace.” That’s simply not true—I asked you to take responsibility for the dangerous situation created in my home and provide an invoice that was clear and fair. The fact is, you sent an inexperienced installer, put my family at risk, failed to provide proper documentation, and then dragged me through court instead of simply making it right. Now you’re here trying to rewrite the story. ————— I hired Clark Heating & Cooling to install a furnace, and they left a gas line leaking in my home for hours. Emergency services had to respond, and Clark later fired the lead installer involved — clearly acknowledging the seriousness of the mistake. But instead of making things right, they sent me a vague, non-itemized invoice that didn’t show the discount they claimed or the $200 cash tip they suggested. When I asked for transparency, they took me to court instead of resolving it professionally. They may have won in the courtroom, but the real story is their poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and willingness to sue a customer instead of owning their mistake. I can’t recommend Clark Heating & Cooling to anyone.

He was kind & thorough, answered all of my questions, and went the extra mile to clean up some debris after checking things out for me. Not only did he clear up my initial concern, but he also filled me in on an issue that would need attention in the next couple of years.

We recently purchased an older home and during the last frigid cold snap, our furnace stopped working. Clark Heating and Cooling were super responsive and scheduled us for same-day service. Before our appointment, the furnace mysteriously kicked back on so we cancelled the appointment. Today we had Keith came to our house for a full inspection of the furnace to make sure we didn't have a repeat the next time it freezes. We can't express enough how pleased we were with Keith. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything about our furnace to us and gave us great advice about how to maintain the furnace going forward. We felt that Keith really had our best interests at heart, and cared about us - he treated us more like neighbors than customers! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am so thankful that we have such a fantastic local option in Stoughton. Clark’s team came and took care of our AC unit that stopped working on the 3rd of July (it was 86 degrees inside our home). We had zoning issues, control system issues, wiring issues and a few other concerns from our original build 4 years ago. Keith and his team at Clark were able to come out in a very reasonable time and show us exactly what the issues were and what it would take to fix them. Jason was our tech and he was amazing. He gave us options and what the value would be for each. We ended up needing several things done but we received high quality service and a better understanding of entire system. Clark will certainly be our HVAC service provider from now on and we highly recommend them.

Clark heating and cooling are the best people for the job. They were able to get me in on a moments notice when my thermostat went out. Someone came out to diagnose the problem the same day, and were able to come back out and fix it within the next 24 hours. Their workers had tremendous experience and did not try to sell me things I didn’t need. All in all, as unfortunately as it was to have to replace an expensive item in the house, I’m glad Clark’s heating and cooling was around to provide such great service. Thank you again!
