I have always used CM Heating for my HVAC needs and have been happy with them. However, I recently had them install a mini split AC in my master bedroom and disaster struck! The install team ended up drilling a 3" hole through the lintel of my garage which is the support beam that holds the garage up as well as my master bedroom above it! I had at least four CM Heating installers mentioning they were going through drill bits so fast they had to run to the store to get more! This is concerning as anyone who knows the basics of home construction would recognize they were drilling through a major support beam and stop. I had a structural engineer assess the damage and the beam needs to be replaced. I would be very hesitant to recommend CM Heating going forward. It is clear their installers are clueless as to basic home construction. I'm also doubtful they are properly insured as they have yet to correct the matter. I am in the process of hiring a lawyer to correct the issue. Be very cautious if you end up going with CM Heating for your HVAC needs.

We just had Samir, Mark, Michael and John out to replace the water heater and install a GFCI outlet, they made sure to take care of us the same way the HVAC team did back in January. They wore booties, drop cloth on our floors, were so quick and efficient with their installation and did a bit of troubleshooting during the end. They communicated everything they were doing and any changes that needed to be made. The office communication from Brittny has been outstanding. We had our furnace venting and water heater venting replaced by Hagen and Aaron back in January 2026. They were also fantastic, quick, efficient, made sure to drop cloth our floors and wear booties in our home. The amount of effort and care this company puts into making sure the customer is happy is incredible. Something very tough to come by these days. CM has been honest, upfront and reliable. Your staff is remarkable and goes above and beyond. Keep these people around! -Two incredibly happy customers 😊

Hired CM Heating for a routine furnace tune-up. The tech first told me my heat exchanger was cracked and there was rust. After I called their office, he changed it to: no crack, just a little rust — and the rust isn't a problem. But his meter was showing CO, he couldn't say why, and his answer was to replace the heat exchanger. He was at my house about 2 hours, most of it sitting in his truck; when I asked, he said he was "charging something." They then sent a senior tech, who got similar CO readings and also couldn't explain the cause. His numbers: $2,600–$2,800 labor plus $3,000–$5,000 in parts for the heat exchanger — or better yet, a whole new furnace at $8,000–$13,000 installed. So I paid for a servicing and got a sales pitch with no diagnosis. Nobody could tell me why the CO reading exists, and the "crack" that started the whole scare was retracted the same day. I'm disputing the charge and getting an independent second opinion. Did they tune up, did they do the servicing? no. Showed me CO level. They both told me that they are required to shut it off per the law as there is high CO level. They left without turning off. When I asked did they turn it off, reply was, “if you want, I’ll turn it off”. I have several CO sensors am apparently those are useless per them.

I called to explore how expensive it would be to upgrade our heating and maybe add AC. I never expected that we'd have a brand-new HVAC system running smoothly the very next day. CM delivered a lightning-fast, high-quality install with top-notch customer service. The process was completely painless, even despite the unforeseen complication of the old furnace being partially buried in the basement's concrete slab. The team tackled this surprise without issue at no additional cost. Huge shout-out to Samir Khoury. We were very blessed that CM sent such a competent and professional advisor to scope the project. He made the planning easy and fun, found us a package with everything we wanted and nothing we didn't, and stayed in touch throughout the install to make sure we loved the result. His contributions were truly above and beyond standard.

CM Heating techs Michael M. and Joseph M. arrived on time. They figured out the best way to reroute the PVC line so the water could drain without a condensation pump. The original setup with the condensation pump created an odd sound whenever the pump stopped running. Michael felt that there was an issue within the drain line causing water to backfill into the pump, causing noise after it stopped running. I felt that Michael and Dan went the extra mile to help remedy the noise issue and did a fantastic job rerouting the PVC line. We ended up with a clean look, eliminating the PVC line in front of the coil panel, allowing for easy access. No more condensation pump, no more noise, and a clean look. Job well done! PS: I forgot to mention that Anderson C. arrived on time; he performed the yearly maintenance and did a fantastic job as well! Great teamwork! To CM Heating Staff and Techs, Thank You All!

We had a bit of a condensation issue, and while not an out and out emergency, we got a next day appointment. Alexander Carlson was our technician. What an extremely personable and professional young man!! He diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly, and gave us recommendations for easy DIY maintenance to keep the issue from recurring.

CM heating completed a high-efficiency furnace replacement and installation of a new heat pump for us in July 2026. Planning, permits and turn-key installation was completed within only about 2 weeks from when we called. CM beat out two other companies in the bid; however, the final decision to move forward with CM was based more on technical aspects of the CM proposal which included specifications of proposed equipment, quiet operation, and right-sizing the system to our space. We have had no problems with the system (in air conditioning mode) in the first month. We paid the amount of the original bid without unexpected up charges. The smooth success of our installation may be attributed to clear communication and careful planning by our project manager, S. Khoury. He took great care in getting the technical details correct and communicating with us our needs. He even helped us get a significant rebate from our gas company for the heat-pump installation. I would recommend CM for your HVAC installations.

UPDATE: This was the quickest 1⭐️ to 5⭐️ switch! Aaron reached out immediately to understand the issue and provide a resolution wherein Charles was able to swing by and fix the issue within hours. Aaron also acknowledged that they would ensure that something like this would be resolved much more seamlessly going forward. Disappointing service. They came in for an annual maintenance of the HVAC and 45 days later there is an overflow from the drain line. The unit is only four years old and had no issues prior to the maintenance visit. When I called to check on this - 1. They stated that it would be an additional service fee for someone to come look since it was over 60 days from the date of service (which it wasn’t) then they said it is actually 30 days from the date of service and they misspoke. 2. When I asked them about how would a drain line clog in 45 days after service, assuming it was serviced properly, they had no answers other asking me to pay up $170 again (a $50 discount was being offered) when i payed $700 45 days ago.

A plumber is now required to service tankless water-heaters. So the plumber came to clean my tankless, which has never had problems in the 13 years I've had it. Now water is dripping from it and I will have a lot of repair work to do on the floor. Now I need a plumber to fix what the first plumber broke. They used to have regular furnace guys service our tankless water heater and they obviously did a better job than this plumber. I will not be using CM for anything water related after this.

Very nice but didn't change the filter as it was not standard...but never told me they didn't change it. Only after I called did they say it would cost extra to change a non-standard filter so I purchased and they're coming back to change it. Seems odd.

It's hot. The tech did come out the day after I called.. I don't know how or when my cooling coil will be replaced do to the one installed 30 months ago leaks. I do know they plan to charge 1200.00 whenever the figure out how to get a part that's no longer made. They said if they don't call by tomorrow then I should call them. How is that customer focused? Was told when I bought the system 2.5 years ago I was buying a quality product but now they don't make it. It's hot.
