To begin, we had a new central unit installed this past July after the old unit died on us. We were told that we were getting the last unit the warehouse in Birmingham had and that it had some cosmetic damage to a couple of upper corners. Because of being without air conditioning, they delivered a couple of portable ir conditioners so we could at least stay cooler until the new unit was installed. Unfortunately,, from what I can remember, there was a delay of two or three days before they could get the new unit delivered and installed. Once installed, it worked very well. We had an appointment with Conditioned Air Solutions Thursday for the first maintenance on our central unit Thursday and Andrey was the technician. He is very likeable, thorough and informed us of what he would be doing. Once he began checking the unit out, he discovered the compressor was leaning forward and the copper line attached to the front of it was bent and pinched by the weight of the compressor pushing the copper line into a metal panel in front of it, creating a bump in the panel. After contacting his supervisor about the issue, he told us that he would have to come back Friday to make the needed repairs. Andrey returned Friday, told us that it would take 4 to 6 hours to make the repairs and got to work. After spending several hours working on it, he came to tell us that he was finished and asked us if we had any questions. What few questions we had were answered quickly. I highly recommend Conditioned Air Solutions should you need a new central unit installed. I also highly recommend Andrey for any servicing the unit may require. Initially, because this was the recommended service period, I expected to pay for the service call. Because of the issues with our central unit, the warranty covered all of the labor and supplies needed. The. Compressor and the copper line were replaced and some loose wires were taped up at a possible wear spot to prevent possible future issues with the unit. Thanks to all and especially Andrey for taking care of us.

EDIT: We recently bought our house in March. We have an older system. It heats and cools perfectly fine, but once every week or two, it’ll drip overnight. It doesn’t accumulate much, and evaporates by morning. It’s not enough of an issue to replace the system. Regardless, any drip isn’t ideal, so we contacted Conditioned Air Solutions to see if we could get it fixed. The technician, Jake, was very personable and professional. He advised it was likely one of two issues that was causing it - either dirty coils or a clogged pipe. He also identified two other unrelated issues that wouldn’t hurt to fix. We decided to fix both issues, which seemingly would stop the drip, and elected to fix one of the unrelated issues as well, at a cost of around $870. We elected to sign up for the monthly membership as we were under the impression the issue had been fixed and we could keep maintaining this one and then use them to replace it when the time came. In less than a week, the unit was dripping exactly the same as before. They dispatched Jake, who suggested several more possible issues. Given that the previous issues suggested weren’t the solution, we declined any further action. We have attempted to cancel the membership, will update here if it becomes a hassle. Overall, we will likely be going with another company when needing repairs or replacement of the system.
