  • Very disappointing service today when the technician accused me of a communication I never got about a blower needing to be cleaned and aggressively acted like I was lying about it! The email had gone to my spam and I never saw it but to aggressively act like he did not believe me was very offensive..Why would anyone lie about that? Like I want my system to fail and pay $$$ for a new blower!! If they knew my system was going to fail, they should have called me to let me know and not buried it in an invoice attachment when they could tell that the email was never opened (BECAUSE IT WENT TO SPAM)! They didnt even apologize and then misspelled my name when I have given them business for years! I am sad to say that I can never use them again..

  • Dave Lane has lost my business. Owning several properties of which they serviced, recently one unit had evidence of a capacitor that had actually exploded. After seeing it, it had been installed within its cardboard box. I could not believe it when the Manager told me it was “common practice” for a capacitor to be installed while remaining in its box. In my 68 yrs, I have never seen such a thing and many AC contractors agree with me. No residential AC capacitor should ever be left inside their cardboard box when installed. The box traps heat and restricts airflow. This causes the capacitor to overheat, fail prematurely, or potentially create a fire hazard. Dave Lane would not acknowledge their mistake. Needless to say, Dave Lane has lost my business after servicing at least 6 units annually.
