• EC Waters did an amazing job! Jason came out to give us a quote and was incredibly helpful. He took the time to sit down with us and explain everything thoroughly, making sure we understood all of our options. On installation day, Vonn, Dustin, and Donald were professional, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire process. They also installed all new ductwork, and the quality of their work was excellent. Our old unit was very loud and never seemed to keep the house cool during the summer. We're now four months in with our new Ruud system, and the difference is incredible. I can barely hear the new unit running, and our house stays nice and cold even when it's extremely hot outside. • I called EC Waters based off of a recommendation, googled them and saw they had great reviews, they’re local, I figure what could go wrong? I call and they send someone out for a diagnostic which I paid $105 and was told we need a new circuit board for my hvac. $625 for the circuit board and then that turns into we need 50’ of wire as well which would be an ADDITIONAL $960 in which I cannot justify. $730 later to find another company that will do the right thing. They are SCAMMERS, do not waste your time and money on them. Shame on you for being local and taking advantage of people!

• Our old AC unit finally bit the dust and we used EC Waters for maintenance on that unit, so we engaged them first for the replacement. We were only without AC for a week, they offered to provide us a room unit to cool a room, but I didn't take them up on that. I definitely should have though! Pricing was clearly communicated from the start and was in-line with our expectations. New unit was installed by Donald & Dustin, that evening, I woke up and the AC wasn't cooling and the house was 85 degrees. I submitted an emergency request and the following morning both Donald & Dustin returned to troubleshoot the unit. Donald & Dustin were friendly and provided a ton of info to all the questions I asked during install, they were proficient in both the initial install of the unit, as well as troubleshooting the following morning for the control wire situation. Was really thankful they were able to get back out to our house the next morning first thing and it was the same tech's that did the install, so no having to relay info or get new sets of eyes on things. Turns out, the control wire that was installed with the house was no longer operational and caused the issues. Once they replaced it, the AC started working properly and it's been working great for about a month. Way better than the old unit! Would recommend EC Waters to anyone who needs AC service in the Orlando area for sure!

• Failed to provide acceptable level of maintenance and service, resulting in leaks that damaged our ceiling in multiple places. They claimed to have blown out lines several times, when in fact a technician has assessed the work was not correctly completed. While a technician states poor quality work the office blames home owner for using the system. The office does not any accept responsibility. Disappointing. The response is a little jaded, not shocking. When their own technicians state previous work was not done properly it is concerning. Since we pre-paid for a maintenance check we were going to allow for that, but the owner refuses to provide service and is going to refund part of what was paid.

• Nine years ago when EC Waters put in my new system, I was pleased, but then I noticed the coils were coming apart from the condenser. It wouldn’t have a 10 year warranty. I had to come out and check it. I don’t know what was done to it but lo and behold a week later the system broke I called for service. No one ever got back to me then I get a phone call on that Monday, telling me they don’t service the Oviedo area anymore. Isn’t that funny since they were just out two weeks before that now they don’t service the area now I have an AC unit that doesn’t run and now it fell out of warranty. Seems very odd as anyone else had to do a lawsuit against them

• We have had EC Waters as our HVAC contractor for many years. Until recently we would have given them a 5 star review. In 2018 they replaced our AC unit including refrigerant lines, approximately a $6,000 job. As far as we knew, all was done to code & well done. They had provided good customer service, appeared honest and pricing in line. Recently things have changed. They are a different company, now run by a new owner, Steve Waters. He is the son of former owner, Clark Waters who has retired. It is our understanding Jason Oldson helps Steve now run EC Waters. In November, 2024 we had a new roof put on our home. In the process a 2.5” roofing nail hit the refrigerant line. This was part of the system installed by EC Waters in 2018. By code in 2018, this refrigerant line should have been 6” below the attic sheathing. Obviously, had it been, a 2.5” roofing nail would never have pierced the line. We immediately placed a call to EC Waters & shut the system off. They very promptly responded to the call, soldered the nail hole, & added 9 lbs. of R-410A refrigerant per their invoice for $1,613.20, (1,213.20 was for refrigerant). They refused to take any responsibility for their work from 2018 that now appears was not done to code. Jason told me I could not hold them responsible for work done 6 years ago. Advised it was a very tight space & they did the best they could. The next day in a conversation with Steve Waters, he also refused to accept any responsibility for what happened. It is their opinion that our roofer punctured a hold in the refrigerant line. We/the customer called them for repair and they promptly came & made the repair. End of story. We owe them $1,613.20. Refrigerant at $134.80/pound It appears this refrigerant should run $50-$90/pound, and we had a maintenance plan with this company at the time. I have held off until now posting this review as last November I requested a refund of the half of the maintenance plan that had not been used. I finally received it in February, 2025.

• E C Waters Air Conditioning is a fantastic company! We wanted a mini-splitter installed so we contacted E.C. Waters to request an estimate, within 24 hours we had a written proposal. Once we made a final decision we were contacted that the equipment had been ordered and would be scheduled for installation the following week. To our surprise the equipment arrived earlier than predicted and Melissa called to schedule a quicker installation. I was called by the install technician, Donald, to let me know they were on their way exactly as Melissa had told me the techs would do. Donald and Austin, the install techs, were professional when they arrived and continued to demonstrate professionalism throughout the installation. They used drop cloths to ensure they didn’t track dirt into my house or allow installation debris to be impacted into my carpeting. In addition, they cleaned up the installation area inside and out once the install was complete. The installation was completed efficiently and Donald, the tech, ensured I had all the associated paperwork for the equipment and provided a quick instruction session the operation of the mini-splitter. I was pleasantly surprised when the company owner, Steve, and Jason, the Comfort Specialist dropped by just to ensure I was pleased with the installation and equipment and to make sure their techs had not experienced any difficulties during the installation. I can’t say enough positives about the entire experience! Thank you to everyone who was instrumental in making this a great experience!
