• Dealt with their salesman Moe about getting a new furnace and insulation upgrade. More walked us through everything, including recaulking windows where needed, and about eligebility for rebates. • Edit: TLDR; Would I use Exalted again? Yes I would. Ali turned it around for us. Back again! Despite some back and forth, Exalted did fix the drywall issue. I felt like I was getting the run around after just being given a phone number vs having them actually arrange the contractor. Also, I still had to sand and make some mudding adjustments however 95% of the job, the part that requires the proper experience was completed. I can't give 5 stars for obvious reasons. It's always better to keep a loyal customer happy than mess around. 'Take it on the chin' and just own the issue. I know there are people always trying to take advantage of companies so I understand, to a certain extent, the lag but once it was clear there was an install issue, just own it. Edit: wow, so this did a 180! We saw a water spot on the ceiling, soft to the touch and when poked collapsed, water came out. I have an extended warranty so they sent someone in. The tech was honest and said the coupling on the exhaust had a gap and he fixed it. Water naturally accumulates and flows back to the furnace drain. Awesome! Buutt…there was a 12”x12” hole that resulted due to their poor install. Maybe even mold. It wasn’t debated. When I spoke to the manager originally and just asked for the drywall to be fixed, $200-300, he basically just did a ‘shrug’ on the phone. By his logic, even though the issue is with their work, behind a wall, no one knows what happened and why. Yeah, except we do. Your company did a bad job. Two stars for having an honest tech! To add icing to the cake; I just bought a new unit in 2024! TLDR; cheaper prices, maybe, but bad installers and they don’t stand by their work. I assume this happens a lot and that’s why they don’t take responsibility. If you want to possibly pay out of pocket to fix your house a year later, go with Exhalted. If you don’t just pay a little more (if it is more) and get it done right. Original Post: One of my furnaces was tagged due to corrosion so I had to get it replaced immediately. Looked around and received two quotes. Including 10 year extended labour (something I'd recommend) Exalted came in less than one of the biggest players in the game. The sales guy I spoke to was personable with no pressure. It was installed next day. There was an issue with a venting up charge but I understand that they can't eat the cost when their prices are so competitive but they met me in the middle. 2 weeks later the heat shut off. I called and the support rep had me try a fix which didn't work. A tech came out the next day and fixed the problem with no fuss. Honestly, I was nervous going with them because I'd never heard of the company and it seemed too good to be true. Still early on in the relationship but I'm very satisfied. They did what they said they would at a very competitive cost. Professional and honest.
