• The installation by Maple was excellent, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a heat pump installation. It is for too early to comment on this heat pump, it is a better question to ask after 6-12 of operation. We had a new hvac ducted installed , the options below do not appear to cover the product we installed.

• We recently had GreenPump Energy install three Novair LEA heat pumps in our home, and we could not be happier with our decision to choose them. We received quotes from three different companies before making our choice. GreenPump was not the least expensive, but their warranty was, by far, the best we found: 10 years on the compressor, 10 years on parts, and 10 years on labour, with the added benefit of being fully transferable if we sell our home. As a military family, that was particularly important to us. One of the other companies offered a parts-only warranty, but none of the others could match GreenPump’s coverage. For us, the warranty made the decision easy. From the initial consultation, Bill was fantastic. He patiently answered all of our questions, provided knowledgeable advice, and helped us determine the appropriate system for our home’s size and layout without making us feel pressured or upsold. The quote was clear and straightforward, and we felt confident that we understood exactly what we were getting. The installation itself was incredibly smooth. The two installers and electrician arrived right on time and worked together like a well-oiled machine. They clearly had a system for dividing up the work, and the installation was completed surprisingly quickly. They were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and they took care to protect our floors with moving blankets. When they left, there was essentially no mess or packaging left behind - just a few boot prints on the lawn! All I needed to do inside was give the walls a quick wipe down and the floors a light vacuum, before putting our furniture and wall art back. One of the technicians also took the time to explain how to use the system, gave us some helpful best practices for our climate and maintenance, and suggested keeping our baseboards on an extremely low setting in the winter as a backstop. She also showed me the app, which was a very pleasant surprise as I hadn’t realized we would be able to control all three individual units remotely from our phones. The only part of the experience that I think could be improved was the communication from the office immediately following the installation. There was some confusion on installation day when I received a call from the office asking whether I would be available for installation the following day, even though the technicians were still at my house completing the installation. The technicians confirmed that a second day wasn’t necessary, so I’m still not entirely sure where the miscommunication occurred. I also received a follow-up call shortly after the installers left asking how the system was working and how I intended to pay. I completely understand wanting to follow up and finalize payment, but I would have appreciated giving us 24 hours or so before asking how we liked the system. At that point, I hadn’t even had a chance to read through the manual, finish setting up the app, or really live with the system. We also both work full-time, so arranging a trip to the bank for the certified cheque wasn’t something we could answer immediately. A follow-up the next day would have given us time to actually use the system, make a plan to go to the bank, and provide informed answers rather than repeatedly saying, “I’m not sure yet.” That said, this was a relatively minor issue in an otherwise excellent experience. We’ve only had the system installed recently, so I can’t comment on our long-term electricity savings yet, but the initial experience has been excellent. The units are quiet, heat and cool the rooms remarkably quickly, and honestly look and feel like they’ve always been part of the house. We were also pleasantly surprised by how small the units are. Overall, we are extremely happy with GreenPump Energy. They weren’t the cheapest quote we received, but between the exceptional warranty, knowledgeable consultation, professional installation, and quality of service, we feel we made the right choice. We would absolutely recommend GreenPump Energy and would choose them again.

• Update July 29th 2026 (Because their answer is BS) They say they contacted me. Did they? I am the one complaining, but my husband was the one they set this up with. It's fascinating they think they tried to contact ME, where I personally had no appt, and therefore supplied no contact information for myself. My husband was the point of contact for GreenPump Energy, not I. There were no missed calls on his phone. No updates on the event in the portal they supplied. No knocks on the door on the day of the appt. (I was home that day too, so my car was in the driveway, so super easy to tell we were home, plus they knew my husband would be home, he works from home. So tell me again GreenPump Energy. Did your tech attempt to contact us? Or are you just trying to be supportive of a colleague/employee when you are aware of the possibility of them lying through their teeth? ---------------------------------------------- They offered us a free consultation and estimate. And then booked an appt with us for 1:00pm - 1:30pm yesterday. Our assessor was supposed to be a man named Johnny. He never showed up. He never called to say they couldn't make it. We'll go with another company, one that respects our time.
