• I cannot say enough good things about Eric from H-Town Air Conditioning! My AC stopped working on a sweltering 90-degree day, and it was already 83 degrees inside my condo. I called H-Town, and to my relief, Eric showed up within just 4 hours—on a Saturday! He was professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable. Eric quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it clearly, and had my AC up and running again in no time. I’m so grateful for his fast response and expertise. H-Town is lucky to have him—highly recommend! 2nd post-September 2026 for duct cleaning: I highly recommend H-Town AC for HVAC duct cleaning! I don't normally pay much attention to my wall registers, so I was shocked when I removed the highest register in my living room and discovered how much “crud” had accumulated inside. The other registers looked completely normal, but this one appeared to have what looked like mold or fungal growth as well. H-Town AC came out and provided an in-home estimate, including photos of what they found inside the ductwork. The photos really opened my eyes to how much dirt and black and white buildup had accumulated where I couldn't see it. The guys did a great job! The cleaning took several hours, but the difference was amazing. The inside of the vent areas looked so clean, and I really appreciated that they individually sanitized all of the registers as well. I'm very happy I had this done. It made a bigger difference than I expected, and I feel much better knowing that everything was thoroughly cleaned. Another great experience with H-Town AC!

• I had 2 AC’s installed at my house and Dimitri was upfront about the prices. He gave me a list of sizes, brands and prices. They installed them 4-5 years ago. Already had issues with one of them. There is a manufacturing warranty for 10 years but labor only 2 years. Already spent a lot on labor for a relatively new system. But overall felt like he was honest. I used them for annual checkups and this year a guy came buy and said I needed about 13k of mandatory upgrades to the ductwork. Kept saying it was mandatory. I made the guy leave the house. Called Dimitri and he sent another guy out. I have a second home that I rent out. I looked at their website and saw some “starting at”prices listed. Most AC’s are in 6-8k range on their website. I called them and asked for the price list again and they would not send it to me. They said they needed to do an inspection. I mentioned they have been going out there for years and they sent me an estimate of 13-16k. Not sure what size or brand they were quoting. I asked why does their website say 6-8K and they did not reply. I recommended this company to friends at work who bought AC’s from them. I need to tell them I would no longer recommend this company. They have changed. Had a 4 ton Trane installed by another company that was around 35% less than the low estimate provided by this company.

• I have now used H Town for years and they have installed AC units at several properties of mine as well as my office. I have always found their work and prices to be fair and with enough consistency in quality work. That experience stopped this past week. I had a rent house that the tenant said the AC was not cooling. It was a Friday at 5:30 so they said they would come the next day. On Saturday they arrived and said it was the blower motor. The tech said no parts stores open and they could not locate the part. This was an AC they installed 2 years prior and still under warranty. I followed up multiple times on Saturday but nothing happened. On Monday I thought I would be a priority but I was not. I called into the office where I got the plumbing side of the company and I had talked to them on Saturday as well and the guy was frustrated and I was frustrated and I said "look if you can't help me why are you guys routing me to you? its not hard to say "thank you for calling H town plumbing and Ac...for Ac press 1 and for plumbing press 2". When I did reach the AC guy he kept saying "let me get with the technician" to which I said "that guy is running tickets and doing work is there not back office help to locate parts and get things fixed?". Monday I was told "there are no motors in all of the US per the rep". Out of desperation I called a second company because now its 4 days later in Houston heat and this cant drag on and I have felt little to no urgency from H town. The other company came Tuesday morning....said the same part was bad.....and set up coming back at 3pm to replace it. It was replaced and then working. Like I said I have always liked H town but this last experience was a disaster on each and every level from the initial visit.

• My AC was working pretty well but I wanted a general checkup and some Freon if needed. By the time H-Town got done, They recommended a complete new system and duct work - $$$$$. He showed me some pics of condensation and rust on coils and said the system was in bad condition. I told him to add the needed Freon for now. He said he couldn't do that without office approval but at minimum I would need a new coil which he would price. I got a quote the next day for the coil for $3000 but his office approved adding Freon. I messaged H-Town back and haven't heard back. I could go on but a very poor experience. You don't get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression. 29 July - Imagine my surprise when there was a knock at the door and it was the owner of H-Town HVAC. Dimitriy the owner was understanding, listened, and apologized for the poor service I received. He checked the outside unit and added about 1 lb of freon to top it off at no cost. Any time an owner shows up and wants to understand and listen, I'd say a 2nd chance is in order... Thanks Dimitriy
