My A/C died Friday night. I started calling repair companies Saturday Morning at 8 am. I tried 4 other companies, none of whom offered Saturday service (though I think that was the fault of the answering service in one case). Then I reached Tom at Hinding Heating & Air. It was much simpler to not have to talk to an AI or answering service. Tom was able to come out and make the repair before 11 am, so we are now back in A/C comfort. Dealing with a smaller business, like Hinding, made for a more personal, comfortable experience. I highly recommend them.

Let me start by saying I really like these guys! When my furnace went out, I called another company to come take a look. After it was condemned due to a safety issue, I was panic calling trying to get it replaced. I got a hold of Ryan at Hinding and finally felt like I was dealing with a straight shooter who had my best interest in mind. Ryan laid out multiple solutions to my issue with different price points, pros/cons and timeline. Ryan even came out on a Saturday morning to confirm the job would run smooth. I really put my trust in this crew and it paid off. If you’re looking for this type of service and don’t want the run around all at a reasonable cost, I highly recommend Hinding for quality service. Oh! And they left my basement cleaner than they found it, the easiest 5 stars.

We used Hinding as our boiler was making noise. Ryan was so professional, on time, and good to our dogs. We have a wacky system throughout the house with all the radiators and he and Tim solved the mystery in our 1950’s house and were so responsive. Can’t recommend them enough! They also bleed radiators and do a fall check up before the season! Don’t ever hesitate to use them:)

Hey, I don’t usually do reviews, so it’s gotta be good if I do. Extremely great service, trustworthiness, knowledge and great positive vibe. Ryan came out of his way to service our house. He took it Upon himself to not just do the job but to go above and beyond. He pointed out areas of improvement that he could do took the time to explain what he’s doing and how to operate the equipment. I guess I’m used to people just coming out and doing a job grunt a few words and rush off to the next one. This is definitely not the case here. This my new go to for heating and cooling. Highly recommend this local small business. I have used them for service in the past, always knowledgeable and fair priced. I had them replace my furnace this morning and it went quickly and smoothly. They are always on time and put down tarps to protect my flooring. Straight shooters, give them a shot if you need service or replacement of furnace or AC, I won't use anyone else!

I am so glad I had Hinding install my new furnace. They are a caring, no-nonsense, trustworthy company. I needed to get a new high efficiency furnace and wanted to get it done by end of year. Tom Hinding came on a Sunday afternoon and gave me his recommendation and bid for a 97 percent efficient furnace - so reasonable, and the type of furnace fits my house and needs as well. On installation day, Tom came out with his crew and got everything set up. Ryan and Oscar worked cleanly and efficiently and the install went great, including the super simple thermostat that suits my needs exactly. They explained how everything works - not complicated, which suits me to a T - and were just as straightforward and helpful as Tom. My new furnace is very quiet and heats the house perfectly. I would recommend Hinding to anyone. They care about the customer and are complete professionals. The absolute best.

We had our 100+ year old boiler replaced by Hinding and couldn't be happier. We first did business with them a few years ago when we needed some service on the old boiler; when others said it was too old to repair and would need to be replaced, Hinding came out and fixed it at a reasonable cost. When we were checking into getting the new boiler, we contacted Hinding again. Tom came out and explained exactly what would be done to tie a modern boiler into our existing pipes and radiator system and gave me the estimate on the spot. As a comparison, another company that we sought an estimate from seemed very intimidated by our old piping, gave a ballpark estimate several thousand more than Hinding and in the end just never got back to me with a real estimate. Once we accepted their estimate, we scheduled the work and Hinding showed up and got everything done in a day. Very pleased with the result. They also made some recommendations for other contractors they knew to do some other services we needed and those turned out great as well. I highly recommend Hinding!
