• Was rudely awakened on Saturday morning with a noise equivalent to a UFO landing on my roof. After determining that it was the AC. Looking on Google for an AC company near me that had Saturday hours Home Town Air was presented. The reviews were stellar. Called and was told that a tech would be by in about an hour. The tech Tyler (also the owner) arrived with his helper (his son). It did not take him long to diagnose that the shroud had come loose and hit the fan. Needed to replace the fan, shroud, and the motor. Since all the parts were under warranty all I would need to cover was labor. He gave me a ballpark figure but we would need to wait for Trane for labor charges. Monday he called me to inform me that he was able to get all the parts and was able to come by after 4pm to get everything replaced. Tyler arrived after 4pm with his son and they had everything replaced in under 2 hours. I can verify that all of the reviews are spot on. I will definitely call on the company for my future needs.

• Tyler repaired a refrigerant leak in my 12-year-old AC unit, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Before finding Hometown Air, I had a couple of other companies come out, and I left those appointments feeling like they were trying to sell me a lot more than what was actually needed. Tyler’s estimate was much more reasonable, and he took the time to explain everything instead of trying to upsell me. About a week after the initial repair, a completely separate leak developed. Tyler got back out to my house quickly, found the new leak, and fixed it. The biggest thing that stood out to me was how much time Tyler spent with me. He answered every question I had, explained what he was doing and why, and never made me feel like he was in a hurry. If you need HVAC work done, I’d definitely recommend Hometown Air.
