So bad service, I call many times, they said they contact to technician and call me back, but never receive call from them. They lack communicate in team. Tech note blower motor need to order and replace but office dont know that and keep my status pending. It still in time frame home warranty that why they dont care? After 3 weeks and 2 times visit can not figure out what's wrong with my A/C. Inside temperature going high afternoon and unit out side keep run all day( none stop). John Houston Home need to look back your facility.

Mauricio Navarreto (hope I spelled his last name correctly) came to my house last night on an expedited A/C repair. He arrived around 8:00 - 8:30 pm and didn't leave until I had cool air in my home. He left around 10:30 pm. He was extremely professional, personable and DETERMINED to not leave until the problem was resolved. Despite every obstacle with my system, he was extremely efficient in his problem solving. I have a new home and it appears the builder took some short cuts on the installation. Breakers thrown, fuses blown, switches in the wrong places, etc...without blaming the builder at all, he took the time to show me everything that needed to be addressed. If all of your technicians are like Mauricio, you have an amazing organization. I will, most certainly, refer your company to anyone needing fast, efficient and thorough resolutions. Hats off and much Gratitude to Mauricio. My pets and i slept comfortably in a cool home. God Bless and Best Wishes to Mauricio and L and S Mechanical. Wishing you all the best in your future and prosperity with your company.

These people are liars!! I waited all day for my HVAC to get fixed and no one came! Even though I was promised that they would come today cause I’m not available the rest of the week because of work! I even called and was assured that someone would come out and no one came! Not even a call to say why no one came! I hate that I have to deal with these people for my repairs. I honestly don’t know if my A/C issue will ever get fixed smh

This might seem silly, but I just witnessed one of your technicians in Granbury stop on the highway to save a turtle. Any technician who cares enough to stop and save an animal-friend gets five stars from me.

L&S Mechanical is a perfect example of how warranty fine print can leave homeowners stuck. After only two years in a brand new home, my compressor failed completely grounded. While the part is technically under warranty, they refuse to provide it unless I also pay their labor costs, and won’t allow a licensed contractor of my choice to install it. So in reality, the “warranty” feels meaningless unless you’re willing to pay whatever they charge. What’s worse is the lack of accountability from Bloomfield Homes, the builder, who offered zero help despite this happening so soon in a new construction home. Between poor flexibility, rigid policies, and no real support, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I expected far better from companies tied to a brand new build.

UPDATE: about L&S did eventually order a new top to our dryer and did replace it Have to say I would give 5 stars if rating for electrical. This review is for HVAC, had someone check out our ceiling vents and the employee decided to stand on our dryer leaving a huge dent. This was about 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything back from them. Who does that???

Poor customer service. The plumber pried the end of the faucet off with his screwdriver, and broke it. L & S was given the spec sheet to re order the part, which was mis ordered twice. I was told the re order would be expedited, and it has been months since the faucet was broke. The manager Mandy would not give me her last name or phone number. The customer service has been less than professional.

Flatbed beware. One way in one way out. Don't start unloading until 9am. One way street. Overnight parking at your own risk in front of the place.

Whoever y’all had driving in one your work trucks in Arlington needs to learn how to drive. Almost caused an accident with my 2 year old in the car because this worker of yours doesn’t know how to merge. When my husband honked to let him know he was too close to us and we were moving forward he just honked back and held down his horn. Experiences like this makes me never want to call y’all for services. Seems like especially if I got that worker he would be rude. Do better. License plate: PZF6739

Some technicians are good, other than that be prepared to waste full days waiting for a scheduled service and they don't even bother calling to inform you its cancelled. They schedule for a full day and tell you the technician will call you 30 mins before. So you pretty much have to wait all day. Not worth it. Also, I cancelled my subscription and they still are charging me. Very disorganized and unprofessional.

These people are a joke!! They are hard to get a hold off. On hold for an hour before they answer hvac calls. They say they have award winning customer service??? I wonder how?? Hire some people to answer the damn phone first!!! The A/C system installed on our new home by this company. Nothing but issues on this from day#1. Brand new Taylor Morrison home - now two years, still leaking all over in the attick. These guys are not good...

Can’t seem to get these folks to call me back, I’ve left a couple voicemails. I’m just wanting to sign up for a service program… Happy to change my review if they ever reach back out

Worst experience AC was installed by this company and since the beginning it’s been giving problems and they don’t want to replace it. The pad was rusty because the installation was wrong and instead of replacing the pad they sprayed painted with us inside. The house was smelling heavily with chemicals and I have a baby that started getting her eyes red I got a headache. Unacceptable jeopardizing our health for a easy fix when we paid for a brand new unit.

I reached out to this company today to get a regular maintenance service done on my HVAC system. The customer service rep sounded like she had no idea of what to do and finally, she checked the system and said she can send her team the next Wednesday but before I confirm she hung up. I tried calling again but no answer.

So i had a plumbing issue in my brand new home, go figure. Myself being a plumber even i was stumped. So at first they sent out brad, long story short he couldn’t figure it out he was stumped. So a few days later they sent out todd. L&S told me todd was there go to guy. He arrives at the house and does his diagnosis. Again he is stumped as well. At this point i don’t know what to do and L&S has disappointed. So i call the corporate office and tell i need this problem fixed now and i need them to send there best. So they told that the best service plumber they ever had quit last year in September. So they said they’ll send the 2nd best. Let me tell when mike arrived at my door he was looking like tom cruise in top gun ready to go and ready to do whatever it takes to get the job done. He didn’t need any fancy equipment i swear all he did was look at the problem for not even 10 seconds and said too easy i know what to do. 5 minutes later with nothing but a crescent wrench and pure dedication he got the job done and fixed the problem to my satisfaction. I am very impressed with mike and his service abilities. From now on i will only use L&S mechanical and ask for mike for any future plumbing issues, my only regret is i didn’t get to meet their true top gun plumber last year in September . But mike will do. Im proud of you Mike

Commercial driver point of view. The people are friendly and professional but checking in with shipping and receiving is kind of a hassle, it’s mainly because they are very busy in the morning. So it’s best to keep on them and prepare your entrance set up. To enter this location you will have to time it to drive against traffic on N. East Parkway, (the entrance is on a one way road) in order to back into their yard and be able to dock don’t make the mistake of driving headfirst into the location or you will not be able to turn around to dock. Also the medium (middle that separates the road has a cut out that will allow for this back up maneuver, but it can high center the Semi so be sure to have it ready on all wheel drive. All this is because the yard where the dock is located is very small and crowded with a bunch of other vehicles that are there to pick up construction materials and also other semi trucks with day cabs trying to bully their way in. I rate this a Level 4 dock ( level 5 is the highest) good luck!

About L&S Mechanical
L&S Mechanical says it has more than 30 years behind its work, with over 100,000 Texas homes installed or serviced across air conditioning, heating, plumbing and electrical. Google carries the same spread, categorizing the shop as an HVAC contractor, an electrician and a plumber. For anyone comparing shops, this is a multi-trade mechanical outfit, not a pure HVAC specialist.
The company also names commercial customers on its website alongside the home work. In 2017 it added preventive maintenance programs, which it pitches to both returning and new customers.
Air, heat, plumbing and electrical in Fort Worth
The shop works out of Fort Worth in Tarrant County. Per the American Community Survey (2024), electricity heats 68% of homes in the city. NOAA normals for 1991-2020 put Fort Worth's mean temperature at 66.3°F, with an average high of 77.0°F and an average low of 55.6°F.
The services the company names are air conditioning, heating, plumbing and electrical, plus the maintenance programs. Nothing beyond those is claimed here.
The 4.4 rating, 142 reviews and weekday hours
Google shows L&S Mechanical at 4.4 from 142 reviews. Hours run Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, closed Saturday and Sunday.
Reviewers who rate it well mention technicians who are professional and friendly, and in one case a tech who stayed until cooling was restored. Lower ratings center on scheduling, return calls and follow-through on parts orders, and several come from the plumbing and electrical side of the business rather than HVAC.
The maintenance programs it began offering in 2017 are the part of the business aimed at long-term customers rather than one-off repairs.
Services, brands and warranty details come from the company's own website. Ratings, hours and reviews come from Google. Town figures come from the US Census and NOAA.
