• If there was a way to give a negative star I would. I have never felt so SCAMED in my life, I kept getting calls about installing a heat pump and I finally gave in cause they would not stop calling and I also thought it was thru the Goverment funding which I’m definitely could be approved for. The guy came and gave me numbers and I said I would like a day to think about it which he said I had to make a decision today. I agreed and next thing I know the installation was happening and I realize I was in for a ton of money and not Government funded. I spoke to my previous person that had installed my air conditioner only 3 years ago and he could not believe they even recommended this when my furnace and air conditioner were so new and if I paid over 5K I paid too much, he asked what I paid and I was too embarrassed to tell. I call the company and was told to talk to the sales person, he said I had buyer remorse and I would have been told that it was not government funded at the time of the call, I said I don’t thing so and was going to check the recording of the call, I heard anything back. As for buyer remorse, what I have is “sick to my stomach” that I allowed myself to be SCAMED. Oh and the credits I’m supposed to be getting, have not yet received. Also like 2 weeks later I had an issue and the service guy called and wanted to do it over the phone because it was Friday of a long weekend and he wanted to get home to his family, awesome Customer Service. Please be very careful with this company, so very dishonest and I cannot believe they can sleep at night. Norma Fitzgerald

• We had a great experience with Julian from Maher heating and cooling. Julian showed up exactly at our scheduled time and went to great lengths to explain everything to us. He was very professional and patient. After going through all the details we agreed to purchase a HVAC system. The system was installed the next day as promised. Installers Darjeet and Naseer were awesome, installation was done in a very timely manner, when the system was installed they explained everything in great detail to us. System is up and running within 24 hours. We will 100% use Maher cool and heating again . Our experience couldn't have gone any better. Thanks guys ....

• We had been looking into an alternative for our oil furnace and Maher came out and did a cost analysis. The sales rep, Julian, was personable and knowledgeable. He helped us to negotiate the ins and outs of the process as well as best route for us to go. We ended up with a hybrid system, new furnace and heat pump, no more oil. There we are few blips in the set-up process but the folks at Maher were in touch and ensured that the system was correctly installed. Overall, we were happy with the technicians and the service.

• I would NOT recommend this company based on my experience. Please be very cautious! A salesperson came to my home and told me that I could get a new water heater and water filtration system through a “free government program”. I was then presented with a document to sign that would have resulted in approximately $13,000 in charges. The cost and financial obligation were not clearly explained to me before I was asked to sign. He kept flipping screens in attempt to confuse and make a sale based on dishonesty. I was also told that other people in my complex had used this company, which I later discovered was not true. I found the entire experience extremely concerning and felt pressured into signing something without being given a clear explanation of what I was agreeing to. I’m sharing this review so others can be aware and take precautions. Please do your own research, verify government-program claims directly, and never feel pressured to sign a contract in your home.

• I do not recommend this company. We have had to call for service twice since having our furnace, tankless water heater, air conditioner, and attic insulation installed. We were told the purchasing these products would qualify us for a government rebate. However, we later found out that we did not qualify, despite what we were told be installation. This was very disappointing and misleading. Base on our experience with the service and the information we were given, I cannot recommend this company.

• Where to start? Jesse W. was my first contact. He came to do the energy audit. Once confirmed I qualified, he sat with me for almost 2 hours. Explained everything in a way I could understand. And when I had a brain freeze overnight, I texted him the next morning. He returned the text, and called...within 40 minutes? Concerns alleviated! Jesse was incredibly helpful when it came to the financing. Thorough explanation of the numbers, and what I was getting. Switching out the water heater and softener, means I OWN those appliances; the old ones I was paying a monthly rent. As far as I am concerned, well worth the money!!!! The insulation team (I am embarrassed I did not get their names). Arrived right on time. Of course there was an issue getting access to the attic (unknown to me), but they fixed it! Once they got everything set up, they had the job done, cleaned up everything, and were on their way by 12:20. Then the fun part begins: unit installation, removing old water heater and softener, installing new ones. Awais and Mani. Incredible team. Started at approximately 12:30. My only job was to clear out vegetation and cut back a lilac bush that was right in the corner they needed to access the electrical panel. They were here until 10:00 p.m.! Unknown to me, the work I had done is a TWO DAY JOB! They busted their butts. Due to the position of my house, the wall for the installation of the condenser unit and conduits faces west. It was a brutally hot and humid day...again. During the hottest part of the day. And not one complaint. They switched out the water tank and softener before the outside work, hoping to catch a break from that heat. They explained everything they were doing, every step of the way. And even after a brutal day, with a long drive home ahead, and another job the next morning, they did not rush through how the remote works, gave me cleaning recommendations (acknowledging I have cats, and will need to do checks/cleaning before what is recommended). I cannot say enough about this entire process! I was concerned that the attic hiccup was going to derail the whole thing, but they worked diligently to rectify the problem. Jesse came here on Monday. The installation began the next day. I was expecting a delay until at least August. Bring on the rest of summer! I am prepared....thanks to Maher Heating and Cooling!!

• Installed the tankless hot water and water softener. Didn't attach the hose properly and we had water on the floor. The new thermostat they installed died and we haven't had any air conditioning for the past 3 days in this heat. We have medical issues as well as our animals are suffering in the heat. It appears that they seem to only have one technician and he didn't show up yesterday (Thursday) due to an injury and now he's going to be 3 hours late today (Friday). Not impressed with the service. They need to have better service. I know it's hot out but when there are medical issues it should have been s priority.
