• I highly recommend Okla-Home Heating and Cooling. Cale came out to inspect my 16-year-old AC system after I had already dealt with three larger companies over the past year and a half. Every time I mentioned possibly upgrading, they seemed more interested in making a big sale than actually helping me. One company replaced a capacitor, then had a salesman quote me more than $28,000 for a new system. Another company said I needed refrigerant and a new fan motor. That repair lasted almost a year, but when the cooling problems came back, they pushed a replacement system for around $22,000 plus and followed it up with nonstop calls and texts. The third company immediately started pushing its top-tier system. The technician said he could patch my old unit until I made a decision, then showed me that he had changed the condenser fan to run backward, claiming that was how they do it nowadays. It never sounded right to me, and I knew I would not be using that company for a replacement. About a month later, the system was still struggling, and my electric bill was $445 for a 1,600-square-foot home. I called Okla-Home Heating and Cooling and left a message about getting a new system. Cale called me back the next day and scheduled a time to come out. He arrived on time, was friendly, and was very patient with me. I had fallen asleep after a chemo appointment and had forgotten about our appointment, so I was tired and scattered and had a lot of questions. He never rushed me or acted annoyed. Cale immediately noticed that the fan was running backward and explained how it was pulling hot July air into the unit and making it run extremely hot. That confirmed what I had suspected about the previous company. I had already done quite a bit of research on what replacing the inside and outside units should cost. Cale asked whether he could give me a quote and showed me three different options. His pricing was right in line with the research I had done, and there was no pressure. He left the quotes and equipment information with me so I could look everything over. After researching the system, I found that it was rated very highly on several consumer sites. Because of Cale’s friendly attitude, honesty, competitive pricing, and the fact that he did not come at me like a car salesman, I chose the best of the three systems he offered. A few days later, his technicians arrived to install everything. They were also friendly, professional, and did a great job. After dealing with companies that seemed more interested in a commission than helping me, Okla-Home Heating and Cooling was a completely different experience. I would absolutely recommend Cale and his team to anyone needing AC repair or replacement.
