  • Spent $40,000 replacing our furnace, installing a brand new central air-conditioning unit, a brand new hot water tank, and two air purification system systems in our home. Honestly the sales person was amazing, they came out within two weeks to install it all. Eight weeks later we have a flood in the basement water spraying everywhere soaking through the drywall with a brand new TV on the other side of the wall and after six phone calls the closest emergency appointment we can get is 48 hours away. To say the least I am angry I am disappointed and absolutely disgusted in the customer service we are receiving. We went with Reliance because they were one of the top companies in Canada. One month after that we had problems with our new furnace, it was getting cold outside with a baby in the house way too cold with no heat. Again I called Customer Service which honestly sucked, However I did have a good agent that listened and heard me. Within 30 minutes I had a call from the Operations manager, Luke. Honestly he was amazing he took our problem and found a solution within two hours we had an installer at our door to fix the problem and he followed up with me before during and after. He also followed up the following day and one week later. Reliance is blessed to have such a great employee and honestly because of him, the cruise that came out to fix our issues, our salesman I would consider going with them again. My greatest disappointment truly is with their call centre.. Something has to be done there but the rest of my experience was actually very good.

  • Please learn from my mistakes and do NOT go into "financing" or their rental agreement. They will put a lien on your home. They will then refuse a breakdown of the payout fees when you request to buy it out, so you can obtain a new mortgage lender. Do NOT do it, unless you are paying outright. We've been paying for 3.5 years and yet , based on the payout amount, it looks like we've only paid 1 year. Still refusing a breakdown. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
