• My air conditioner was not working, and the temperature was truly high, so I really hope someone could fix it ASAP. I found Tropic Air by google search, and most of the costumers wrote that they could do good and quick job. When I called Tropic Air, they were actually on vacation, so I thought they might need longer time to finish the job. But the truth was, they just toke about half an hour got to my property, and used the other hour to finish job right at td! It was a great experience, thanx :)

• I was having a problem with my water heater. There was no pressure in the hot water line. I contacted Tropic Air after seeing all the positive reviews on google. It was late in the evening and Loren said he will not be able to make a visit until next morning. However, he spent a good 15 minutes on the phone trying to diagnose my problem. He suggested a few things I can try doing myself that might fix the problem. And if it doesn't work call him back and he will make a visit next morning. I followed his instructions step by step and to my surprise it fixed my problem. I could not believe it! I called Loren back to thank him and he spent another 10 minutes to explain what was causing the problem. Lorne is a very honest and knowledgeable tradesman. It's hard to find people like that in trades nowadays. I would recommend Tropic Air in a heart beat!

• My water heater needed replacement in December. Called Tropic Air. Loren arrived within 2 hours of my call, and as promised completed the work within a day at a highly competitive price. What could one ask for, right? But here is more. Loren is one of the most personable gentleman I have ever met. He was extremely attentive and patient in hearing all my concerns, did not try to oversell, offered professional advice, answered all my questions and showed me how to maintain my water heater. He also provided advice on how to store my A/C in winter and fixed my central humidifier that he noticed was not working - FREE OF CHARGE! which shows that HVAC is not Loren's job but his vocation, which is priceless. • MISLEADING quotation. Drag the work to OVERCHARGE you. Called the guy to come and change the switch on my unit. He said it will cost 1 hour for 90 an hour. I told him it is a switch he said it will be fast. When he came he was late and he looked spaced out. Then he started looking into the unit trying t o figure the issue and WASTE / DRAG time...after 30 minutes, I told him it is the switch that is on the side of the unit. Then he puller his tester to check that only switch that was on the unit. He confirmed that MY DIAGNOSTIC was right. Then He laid on his back pretending he is doing work. While talking to him he disclosed to me that these units are so simple and are fixable in few minutes. BUT iIT TOOK HIM 2 hours to finish?!!! He charged me for 3 hours of work Claiming that he charges an additional 90 dollar for diagnostic!!! What a RIPOFF. He said it took few minutes but it took him 3 hours what a SCAMMER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM To ANYONE
