I recently had a furnace system reviewed and upgraded, along with the installation of a Rinnai SENSEI RX (RX199iN, Made in Japan) tankless water heater by Daniel and the team at Air Leaders Inc.—and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Professionalism & Respect for the Home Ali and his colleague handled the installation with great care and professionalism. From the moment they arrived, they laid protective coverings from the entrance all the way to the basement, keeping everything clean and organized throughout. That level of respect for the home really stood out. Fixing Previous Issues – True Expertise My furnace had been installed a couple of years ago by a less experienced team, and Daniel quickly identified that the existing gas line setup was not up to standard. Based on his recommendation, the team upgraded it properly using high-quality CSST. This wasn’t just an install—it was a meaningful correction of previous safety issues. Safety Done Right (This Matters!) What impressed me most was their attention to safety and detail: Proper support and clean routing of the gas piping. Careful and correct electrical bonding of the CSST (crucial for safety!). Everything installed neatly and brought fully up to code. You can tell they take their work seriously and don’t cut corners. Top-Quality Venting Work The outdoor venting was also very well executed, with high-clearance gooseneck terminations to prevent snow blockage and exhaust recirculation. Since the goosenecks are tall, they took the extra step to provide dedicated support and reinforcement to ensure they are rock-solid against the elements. All sealing was done cleanly with professional-grade materials. Above and Beyond Service at a Great Price The pricing was very competitive, and I am extremely satisfied with the value provided. They also helped replace a faulty humidifier intake valve and moved my old rental tank to the garage as requested. These extra touches made the whole experience even better. Final Inspection & Accountability Daniel personally came by near the end to inspect everything and make sure the work met his high standards. That level of ownership and accountability gave me a lot of confidence. Highly Recommended The RX199iN is running quietly and handling our home’s needs effortlessly. • Recently we had the gas meter changed to a "smart" meter by Enbridge. Enbridge's contractor issued 2 red tags for "improper installation" of the furnace & water heater vents. Apparently the vents were not improperly installed - actually they were. I had raised the ground level by installing concrete interlocking that made the distance nominally less than the code requirement of 12". One of the vents was installed by Air Leaders and I called Dan to seek ways of getting around the issue - we settled on lowering the floor level to meet the code requirement, for which I did not need Dan's help. The reason I'm writing this review - just like the last time, I'm again impressed by his service. He was very prompt to respond to my request for help. He came by to look at the work I had done the very next day & took care of the red tags with Enbridge for a very reasonable fee [a licensed gas technician is required to sign off ] . He also took the time to service the tankless water heater they had installed 4 years ago. My experience dealing with Air Leaders on both instances has been exceptional. • Called Air Leaders Thursday and Dan came to the house within three hours to carefully discuss furnace options, attributes of each. No pressure to choose a particular one. Only pressure is that my current furnace had died Wednesday and it was now 9° inside. This was Thursday before a long weekend. Dan came for inspection and provided us with a few options for the new furnace. He explained the benefits & costs for each option as well as rebates from manufacturer.
