• I noticed Climanetics responded to my previous one star review stating I, Anton, work for Air Dynamic Solutions. I do not work for Air Dynamic Solutions; I am the customer. Much like the original problem there is an issue at Climanetics of analysis and validation before action; seen here again in their incorrect post which I have a copy saved incase they intend to edit the message. Luckily I was able to contact Air Dynamic Solutions again and they were able to fix the issue.

• As the tenant, I had a very disappointing experience with Climanetics. The company was sent to repair an issue with our fan coil unit and came out multiple times, yet the problem remained unresolved. During one visit, the technician, Can, claimed there was no power to the unit and said an electrician was needed. An electrician was brought in, only to confirm that there was power to the unit all along. This wasted everyone's time and delayed getting our equipment working properly. On the final visit, I was present when the contractor who hired Climanetics came to the site to understand why the issue had still not been fixed after so many service calls. Instead of explaining what had been done or answering reasonable questions, Ken became defensive, rude, and used inappropriate language. He even told us to "do it yourselves," packed up his tools, and left without resolving the issue. It was incredibly frustrating to be treated this way as a customer. We eventually had another HVAC technician attend the site, and the problem was diagnosed and repaired within minutes. I understand that not every repair is simple, but there is no excuse for unprofessional behavior or speaking disrespectfully to customers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Climanetics, and I would strongly advise requesting a different technician if you are assigned Ken.

• We, along with 6 other suites in our downtown Dundas Condominium, recently engaged the services of Climanetics Inc. to clean the heating/cooling unit ducts in our suite. We found this firm to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly and most accomodating. The crew that actually performed the work were friendly, clean and professional. They took every precaution to protect our our unit from any damage or dirt while the work was being undertaken. This firm also undertook the cleaning of the dryer ducts in all of our 62 suites, as arranged by our Condo Board and Management team. Both of these projects were a huge success! • This place was recommended by our building management. The customer service was horrible. They gave us a very broad window time when the technician will be coming. Pretty much from morning to late afternoon. My husband had to call multiple times to confirm the technician was coming because it was coming close to the end of the time window they gave us. After going back and forth, they told us to wait another 2 hrs or the next day again!!! After arguing with them, they had a technician come after we waited for 6hrs! I didn’t give this place 1 star, because our technician was fabulous, very helpful and knowledgeable. Explained to us what happened to our AC and why it wasn’t working. Amazing job to him.

• Climanetics replaced a dead motor in my condo's fan coil unit. Responses were fast, and most importantly, they were very transparent throughout the entire process. Though I guess it could vary from case to case, but to those who are curious, I paid ~$350 CAD for the motor and the service. The technician was very courteous and professional and he was done in less than 30 minutes. Zero complaints.

• I would recommend them only if you are sure that your HVAC is only going to give you trouble on weekdays between Climanetics working hours. This is the company recommended by my building management for any fan coil issue. We called them to fix an issue with our fan coil last March. During the service call, they recommended to replace a part which was not faulty at that time but they suggested it as it might fail in near future. We went ahead with their suggestion as they are experts in their field, parts were replaced and everything was going smoothly. Last Saturday our fan coil started making continuous unbearable news (even when it was switched off) so we tried reaching out to Climanetics first because of the past experience but they don’t operate on Saturday/Sunday so fearing the issue does not escalate further, we reached out to other companies for help. Luckily we found a company, they came and fixed the issue. It turns out the issue was with the non faulty part which was replaced based on Climanetics’ suggestion. When we reached out Climanetics team on Monday, they said we should have waited 2 days (sure we have to bear the noise for 2 days, we might not be able to sleep and issue might have increased causing other headaches) but we still would have to use their service only if we want them to replace the part under warranty for free. Their representative would have done that so should we. Sorry I don’t have super human strength as they might expect so I guess I would have to rely on other companies for HVAC services in future. (Not sure how to reply on the revert from Climanetics hence posting a note here) The issue/noise I was getting was coming even after the fan coil was switched off something which I mentioned to service desk on Monday but as mentioned earlier they expected to me live through the noise for 2 days and only call Climanetics to get the service under warranty.
