We had our home air exchanger inspected in November 2025 and we paid $417.32 to determine that the circuit board needed to be replaced but was no longer available. We then had a new one installed for $5538.90 in December 2025 where the technician pre-set it to SMART mode so we did not need to adjust it. We soon after experienced an error code E50 (typically signals a problem with the control wiring or the electronic control board, often due to a miswiring, broken wire, or poor connection, especially at the J15a connector) When i contacted them today to see if there would be another service fee for them to come out they indicated that there would be and perhaps more if additional repairs were needed as our 30 day warranty has expired. To me that is unacceptable to pay $6007.22 and have no installation coverage as we are over the 30-days by likely a few days. UPDATE.... I was able to have a great conversation with the Well Done team as they reviewed my file and they came back out to address the concern and discovered some miswiring at time of install. I want to state that I am fine with human error as it can happen to all of us. What impressed me the most and why I am moving it to a 5 star review now is the fact that they made met as a team and made internal changes as a result of my concern to help avoid future challenges. This shows me that they are a business that is truly listening and adjusting to become better, and that as a consumer in the end is what matters.

Kurt came to my home to replace a seized motor on my Lennox Roof top ac. When he arrived and started looking at the job, the unit obviously required more than that. The unit needed to be cleaned thoroughly, which he did. Kurt was very professional and confident in answering and addressing any of my concerns. There ended up being an issue with another couple of parts on the heating side of the unit. Replacements were ordered and the job was completed in good time. Kurt even came back to help me with a thermostat issue I was having, after he had left the job. To be blunt, the service could not have been any better. I have owned my own business and am quite particular about how work is completed. In my opinion, Kurt is a great asset to your company.

I would not recommend this company for hvac services. Unprofessional, not reliable and not trustworthy. Last fall we called Welldone because it seemed like the air conditioner needed to run constantly to keep the condo cool. They came and replaced a zone valve. We believed that they fixed the problem but due to weather we didn't really know. This spring it still seemed that the air conditioner still needed to run constantly so we signed up to have the air conditioner cleaned and serviced. The unit was cleaned but the technician doing the tasks inside spent most of his time talking on the phone. The unit was turned back on and they actually checked the temperature output and realized it was not cooling enough but they did not have enough time or the tools to do a pressure check of the coolant. I also did not recieve an invoice for this service call for 10 days even though i was expected to pay that day. A technician returned the following week to fix the problem, the technician was very late and did not update me with an expected arrival time. The technician welldone sent was an apprentice who did not have all the tools required to perform the task. Although I did not pay for this service call I did waste my time waiting around for someone who in the end was not prepared or equipped to fix the problem.

Our furnace finally gave out (after 40 years). Maria at Welldone came out to assess and brought space heaters to keep us warm (it was just starting to dip below zero). Polite and professional. The furnace went in using the same external holes in the foundation as the previous (wonderful!) and the rest of the installation went very well. The installers were clean and efficient. The furnace and AC are working well to keep us warm and cool.

All crew has done an exceptional service beyond what is expected, form the person answering the phone, the technicians coming to do the work, supervisors and managers following up with the service provided... 7 pm, Friday night, furnace coughs up a furball and wouldn't stay lit. Everyone in the house wearing hoodies. It looked to be a long cold night. Panic call to Welldone and shortly after I received a call from Kurt. Friendly and calm. Suggested I try something first before a call-out which could be very expensive. It worked great! The house toasty again. I told everyone about my experience, and added him to my contact list. Great customer service. Kurt's kindness will long be remembered.

We are one of Saskatchewan's largest condo corporations and having a maintenance contract with Welldone Mechanical is a tremendous asset in ensuring our heating/cooling/water distribution systems are being properly maintained and operating at peak efficiency. Their expertise has provided the corporation with some excellent recommendations that have, and will continue to save on natural gas consumption and as well provide redundancy in the system. They respond very quickly to any situation that comes up. This relationship provides confidence to the corporation that our mechanical assets will run as designed and with that confidence comes trust! Trust is extremely important with any vendor but especially a vendor that is critical to maintaining a comfort level for all our owners.

Kurt was the technician that came to provide a regularly scheduled maintenance check at the clinic I manage. He asked if there was any issues we were having (above and beyond the routine maintenance) and we were. He was able to troubleshoot and fix a thermostat problem that had not been working correctly for months (we were manually doing a workaround at the end of each day turning it off at night and then back on in the morning. Now we can just leave the thermostat alone and it keeps setpoint, as designed). THANKS KURT and GREAT JOB! Much appreciated!
