I have used Winnipeg Home Services foe about 5 years now. They are fantastic. The home technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. The office staff are always polite and prompt.

2 no shows after the first visit and then unable to identify the problem with my tankless hwt. i would have never called back after the first no show but he was familiar with and the tank after working on it for a few hours in the first initial visit.

These people stepped up and even when they could not have their ‘usual guy’ come and address a plumbing / sink backup issue at my in-laws in Winnipeg area…they tracked down someone else and responded very quickly and cost-effectively. 5 star review is easy to give. I was calling from out of province…but Gina was all over it.

Called on a Sunday and asked about getting the valve changed so I could shut off the water to my hot water tank that was leaking. Referring it to office when they reopen aug 2 in 2 days!! NO EMERGENCY SERVICE AT THIS BUSINESS!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I had a furnace repair done by this company. They were helpful, professional, had good customer service and communication. Very helpful and successfully repaired the furnace by replacing a faulty pressure switch.

I use to use this business. Had them install quite a few furnaces way back. Now I am replacing them all, and these guys are not on the list anymore. All they care about is educating the customer , THAT THEY ARE A BUSINESS, AND MUST CHARGE YOU EVERY TIME THEY COME. When I asked how many bills I must pay before my furnace was fixed, I got no response. There guys are trained to generate service calls so they can collect over 100 each visit for doing nothing. I told them I will pay for their supposed service call, WHEN I GET A PRICE ON FIXING MY FURNACE. They said they would call back with price, and NEVER DID. Good thing I started with my own parts order immediately, and never waited for these guys to price me up. I am sorry i gave this company a lot of business in the past. One of the most rewarding things about installing a new furnace in one of my properties on the 15th of Feb, 2022, was NOT USIING THESE GUYS. Being a business is servicing the customer, not generating service calls. After the fact, I end up finding out this business got rid of its facebook reviews because they were so poor, and I suspect they are involved in creating their own false reviews as well.

Called around 1:00am on a Sunday morning and spoke to someone right away; very friendly and professional. Tech called back a couple mins later with my options, which was greatly appreciated! Turns out it was an easy fix that we were able to take care of on our own; however, we called the tech back for help troubleshooting minor question and he was extremely helpful! Very impressed all around with everyone we spoke to and highly recommend.

My boiler was giving off a bad smell on the weekend. I gave Winnipeg Home Services a call and they sent a tech over right away. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem as a soot build up. He clearly showed me the issues instead of just telling me. He was concerned about our warmth but suggested that we book our cleaning for a weekday so that our cost could be less expensive. I am thankful for him (and the company value he has been taught) that customer comfort is more important than making extra cash.

Dealing with Winnipeg Home Services was so great! Their employees, from the phone call to the tech who came Ito my home, were polite and helpful. We had to have our main drain cleaned out and an amazing, thorough job was done. The tech who did the cleaning gave us helpful advice for what to watch and do for ongoing drain maintenance. I highly recommend this company and will be calling them again for any future needs!
