• Was looking for a family based air-conditioning company as not to get Raked through the coals. I found them on the Neighborhood app…. The reviews were good, so give them a try. It was $95 for the initial service call which I felt was very reasonable. I ended up needing two voltage cartridges which operate both the inside and outside unit.The Technician.(Chris) was great. He explained everything to me and also threw in a free one time overall check on my AC unit to clean the Hoses, etc.I’m very happy with this company and highly recommend them. Chris was honest, Assessment checking everything. I will definitely use them again in the future. I felt the end results and the total bill was very reasonable.

• A few years ago, my wife discovered AC Authority and scheduled our first appointment with Krystal, who managed the office and scheduling. During the first two years, Kyle, the owner, personally serviced our air conditioning system. He recommended and installed a monitoring system upgrade, sold us replacement air filters, and also promised to replace our thermostat—a promise that, unfortunately, remains unfulfilled five years later. In the following years, our annual maintenance was performed by Pierre, who consistently did an excellent job. We were very pleased with his professionalism and the quality of his work. This year’s scheduled maintenance, however, has come and gone and is now several months overdue. Prior to the service date, my wife emailed the company to follow up and request scheduling for our maintenance and a recommended cleaning. She received no response. She emailed a second time and, once again, received no response. I then took over and called the company a couple months ago. I spoke with the answering service, which assured me that Kyle would return my call over the weekend. No call came. I called back again and was once more assured that Kyle would contact me before the end of the day. Again, there was no return call. I’m not sure what has happened. As one of AC Authority’s early customers, it has been rewarding to watch the company grow and invest in new technology. We have recommended AC Authority to friends and others because of the positive experiences we had in the past. Unfortunately, it now feels as though loyal, long-term customers are no longer valued. The complete lack of communication and follow-through has been extremely disappointing. A simple phone call or email explaining the situation would have gone a long way. This is not the level of customer service that builds trust, retains loyal customers, or supports the outstanding reputation the company has worked hard to earn. I sincerely hope AC Authority addresses these communication issues and returns to the customer-focused service that originally set them apart. For now, months later, there has still not been any follow up with a scheduled service and at this time I would NOT recommend this company to friends or family as they fail to provide service.!!

• While nobody likes to hear that your A/C manufacturer has been bought by another company because there goes your warranty, Kyle is working with us to get the warranty covered with the new manufacturer. He explained all the options and is keeping us informed of what is happening. He and his group worked very quickly to identify the issue with my A/C unit and had it back on line the same day. Also came back 2 weeks later to replace a part that was not in stock but the broken part was able to be used in such a way that the unit did run and cool the house while waiting for the new part to come in.
