• Let me preface this review with that you get what you pay for… I’m not sure where all the good reviews come from, people must not be checking the quality of Mike’s work, or should I say the quality of his crew’s work. Brian and Jesus came out to remove my old system and reinstall a brand-new comparable heater, coil, condenser and plenum. Everything seemed to be progressing until it was time to reconnect the supply ducts run the fan – there was about an inch of insulation covering my living room, hallway and utility room. Not sure how that happens but I had to spend a fair amount of time removing registers and cleaning dusty insulation out of the supply ducts, my living space and my dogs. They got my dogs! The installers did offer to clean up when they were leaving but considering how they treated my attic space (more on that below), I opted out of their offer. Trash, so much trash. Plenum cutouts, wire, tape backing, old sealant were thrown across my attic in hopes that it would fall into the insulation never to be seen again. Jesus has the audacity to say: “Maybe the trash is from the original installers”. The original installers were there 11 years ago…sure this shiny, dust free aluminum plenum cutout has been laying here for 11 years. Honestly, it’s more effort to throw the trash across the attic instead of just dropping it at your feet on the wood platform. At least then it would be easier for me to clean up. Empty plastic water bottles (water that I provided for them) were thrown into my insulation…unfathomable. I got irritated with them and made them dig the trash out. Of course, after they left, I found more trash scattered across my attic. These guys are extremely tacky and unprofessional. This is why I opted out of them “cleaning” the insulation inside of my house. The outside high voltage disconnect was replaced with a new unit, the new disconnect has not been caulked. The condenser has not been secured to the concrete pad; I can rock the unit back and forth with slight pressure. I asked Brian if he was going to secure the unit, his response was that it is not necessary and that they never secure them. Brian could not reinstall the ICM soft start module onto the new condenser. He was quick to state that the soft start module is probably faulty (it was working on my old unit this morning). Turns out he wired it up incorrectly after I helped him troubleshoot it with a Youtube video (I have zero HVAC/electrical experience). After finding these surface issues, who knows what else has been botched during this install. Do yourself a favor and stay away from ACS and Mike/Tung. He may be knowledgeable and a good salesman, but he has a below average crew. His crew is not qualified to install or work on HVAC systems. I deeply regret hiring ACS to replace my HVAC system.

But I want to give a huge shout out to Tung (Mike), he is super knowledgeable and has earned my trust 10000000% all I need to do is show him the A/C unit and he already knows what’s wrong. He is the reason why I will not take my business anywhere else. Every time my A/C unit gives me issues I only trust Tung to fix it, No one else. I truly appreciate the company as well. Had a chaotic A/C event yesterday where the unit stopped working in the middle of this crazy heat and they made sure I was calm and reassured me that my concerns are extremely important to them.
