• [Oct 1, 2026 update] Max provided excellent maintenance services on all 6 of our HVAC units. His service was thorough and addressed long-standing inefficiencies in our gas fireplace and humidifier. We look forward to a more robust pilot light in the fireplace and improved air quality with better water flow into the humidifier. As a result we’ve signed up for the Family Plan. [Previous] I strongly recommend AirZone HVAC given the positive experience replacing our 18 year old AC with a new heat pump. Of multiple HVAC companies called upon for a quote, AirZone was the first to suggest a heat pump rather than an AC given the substantial rebates available. They also recommended an energy auditor who provided similar outstanding service. Our installation was non-trivial given very minimal space between our home and the neighbour's fence. In addition, the location is beside and below our solarium which has snow and ice "avalanches" all winter long, requiring protection for the heat pump. Finally, our home is over 100 years old proving a challenge to pull a new power cable and thermostat wiring through a finished basement. After a thorough evaluation and on-site measurements the Bosch BOVA was recommended over a side discharge unit to ensure ease of access for maintenance. A protective cover was also suggested to protect from falling ice and snow. All aspects of this experience were top notch. From the quotation, to the installation, to the heat pump and the Ecobee Premium thermostat, everyone and everything was excellent. Thank you AirZone!

• Update: Tech Rob just came to check our furnace which had been red-tagged by Reliance, saying I needed a new furnace and not even mentioning the Amana lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger. A quick adjustment of the gas pressure to the proper spec dropped the vent reading from 247 to 110, and the red tag was REMOVED. I am switching my annual maintenance contract to AirZone. ---------------------------------------------------------------- When I worked at Nortel, quality was defined as "exceeds customer expectations". Definitely applies in our case. Matt gave the most comprehensive sales presentation (2 hr vs 30 mins) and explained everything from the need to cover the basement cold air return, how our current system was over-sized and that we'd be able to keep our existing, communicating thermostat. Kudos to Graham and his associate for doing a top-notch installation of interior and exterior units and auxiliary controller board on the furnace. Finally, these inverter units are AMAZING. Unlike our old unit, we don't hear anything in the house when it's operating.
