Do Not Use This Company! Do Not Use Mitsubishi Heat/Air Conditioning Pumps. We are having a lot of difficulties after spending almost $30,000. Our air conditioning unit does not work properly, and we had to go through a very rough summer. A local electrician also flagged what he considered to be a potentially fatal electrical mistake made during the installation. The air conditioning takes more than 7 hours to lower the temperature in our house by just 1°C. Also, the Mitsubishi unit can only be set to 19°C, unlike some other units that can be set to as low as 16°C. So, if my house is 30°C, I have to wait more than 7 hours just to get it down to 29°C. This was my 2nd edit and I will update.

Had a heat pump with central furnace retrofit installed. The experience was solid from end to end. Knowledgeable sales reps, expert technicians and installers, and responsive front office. I would definitely recommend Aquatech. My only complaint was that sometimes what is discussed during the sales call turns out to change a fair amount once you get to installation. The sales process is "making some guesses about what the installation will look like, placement of the unit, routing of the various lines" and the actual installation process can look different and become more complicated based on the situation on the ground.

Aquatech did a great job retrofitting a heat pump into my condo and I am so happy to finally have air conditioning! Choosing a Mitsubishi heat pump with a 10 yr warranty gives me peace of mind. Retrofits are a challenge and an arduous process, along with building strata requirements and engineering reviews. Aquatech found a way to do it all properly and I am so grateful. Their technical estimator, Quintin, was exceptional throughout - so professional, personable and committed to the best outcome. Alanna helped me apply for BC Hydro rebates and City of Vancouver inspections, which I really appreciated. Daniel and Trevor led the installation team, and they were all diligent, efficient and respectful. Roy referred me to a contractor to repair and paint drywall afterwards - and Corey was excellent. Paul taught me how to clean the AC filters and arranged for ongoing maintenance. I liaisoned with the various parties and communicated detailed requirements, to ensure accuracy and compliance. Together, we did a great job - thank you Aquatech! I would highly recommend you to anyone.

I've been very impressed with Aqua-Tech during every step of my furnace replacement, from the initial on-site assessment of my needs to the installation of my new Continental furnace and support afterwards. There was a minor issue with the new furnace (not the fault of Aqua-Tech) that I called them about near the end of a workday and they were on-site to address the issue at the start of the next day! I am particularly impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved and with the high level of communication. I'm so happy that I found them!

We used Aqua-Tech to install a heat pump on our condo and I highly recommend them. We installed a Daikin multi-split heat pump with 3 heads. The outdoor and indoor units are very quiet, but still able to cool a room very quickly. They include a great (transferable!) warranty and blend nicely into the space. Aqua-Tech's responsiveness during the estimating/proposal was incredibly quick. The free assessment was thorough, and based on proper thermal load calculations (some other companies don't bother to do this important part, and just guess equipment sizing). Jody & Alanna were so friendly to deal with throughout the whole process. They made everything easy for us, by assisting with things like communicating to building strata and getting all of the mechanical / electrical permitting. The install itself was scheduled quickly and completed on time. After the work was complete, they also helped with submitting our rebate application. The team doing the install was led by Jas, who was friendly and knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the work. He took the time to explain at each step what the crew was doing next. Their overall professionalism, communication, and high quality work made our experience a very positive one. Highly recommend!

I had a split-duct A/C heat pump installed into my condo. By far the star of the show was Alanna. She helped every step of the way from providing documents for my strata to submitting the rebate to Hydro. 4/5 stars because I was told the installation would take 1 day, and it took two days. Also, there was a squeal that I needed repaired. At first I was told it was normal. It wasn't. The repair tech Jugraj was super clever and fixed it. I do recommend.

We had wanted to get a heat pump for years and hosting a family reunion this past July put an end to our procrastination. We went through the vetting process but it gave us a short runway . Aqua tech came out on top, on our spread sheet, and we decided to go with the Mitsubishi City multi system but we were worried that the install couldn’t be done in time. However, Aqua Tech’s management style is driven by the customer’s needs with a team approach. The network of professionals have great communication between all the different departments to ensure a seamless collaboration . A big shout out to Jody the estimator , Roy the scheduler, Marco our skilled problem solving Project Manager , Tanya in accounting , Paul in follow-up and the organized, prompt , polite installation team . Although it is invasive at the time, our heat pump experience was stress free . During our walk through , our questions were patiently answered . The job was completed in 4 days , and we now have had a delightfully comfortable summer for the first time in many years.

We recently had Aquatech install a Mitsubishi mini-split ductless heat pump in our condo. We were very impressed by their service and their professionalism. They kept to their schedule, never keeping us waiting. As well as installing our system, they took care of permitting, complying with our strata rules, and applying for BC Hydro rebate for which we qualified. It was a hassle-free installation and we are very happy.

From start to finish, we had an excellent experience with Aquatech. Several members of their team were involved at different stages of our heat pump installation, and every step was handled with professionalism and care. The process began with a thorough initial consultation and continued with an assessment of our ceiling joists and attic layout to ensure that the installation could be done properly. The actual installation was carried out efficiently and professionally, and the team paid close attention to details. Particularly impressive was Aquatech's excellent communication throughout the entire process. Everyone kept us informed at each stage and, after the installation was complete, followed up to make sure we were satisfied. They took the time to explain how the system works and how it should be set and operated. We really appreciated that commitment to ensuring we were comfortable with our new system rather than simply installing it and walking away. Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable, professional, and helpful - Jody [sales rep]; Daniel [project manager]; Trevor [installer]; Michael [drywall repair]; Tanya [office manager]. It was clear that customer satisfaction and quality workmanship are genuine priorities. Our experience with Aquatech Vancouver Heating and Air Conditioning was top-notch and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a heat pump or HVAC installation.

Used Aquatech to install AC in my condo (Mitsubishi ductless heat pump). Appreciated the help with creating a package for strata, applying for rebates, etc. Trevor and his team were great communicators and did a good job with the install. However, some admin miscommunication/errors resulted in scheduling issues and delay. The heat pump itself is effective and super quiet - love having it during this heat wave.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with Aqua Tech. Quintin was knowledgeable and gave great advice on the best placement for our 3-zone Quilt A/C system during the consult process. He took the time to answer all of our questions and provided what we felt was a fair and transparent quote. Trevor and the installation team were just as great. The installation was nicely done, and everything was explained before they left. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality A/C installation.

We had a heat pump with two mini splits installed by Aquatech in our condo and they were exceptional from our first meeting. Not only was their quote competitive, the service and support were professional, timely, and competent. They supported us all the way through the project including planning, and applying for city permits, strata and BC Hydro rebate. Installation was very clean and on schedule. They tried their best to be undisruptive and organized which is very helpful when there is limited space in a condo. I've talked to three other vendors for this project and I'm so glad that I went to Aquatech. I highly recommend them for anyone considering this type of project.

Aquatech's customer service and heat pump installation was excellent. The install took three days, and we appreciated that it was the same team each day. They were professional, quiet, open to questions and problem-solving, and they worked really hard. They also kept the site tidy. (Thanks Ken, Alex, and Milad!) The team in the office and the estimator who provided the quote were just as professional and very good at their jobs. We were impressed! We've had the ductless system for a few weeks now and are very pleased with it.

Overall we had a great experience with Aquatech, starting from our consultation with Jody to the installation team led by Trevor and follow-up from Alanna. Everyone was very professional and we are very pleased with our home's new heating and cooling system.

Jody saved me $15,000! Our system wasn't maintaining the temperature, so I had another company come out to inspect it. They told me the coil was broken because it was freezing up and creating condensation, and they recommended replacing the entire HVAC system based on its age. (Furnace 13 years old, Air conditioner 2 years old) I decided to get a second opinion and called Aquatech. Jody arrived, listened to what I'd been told, and immediately questioned the diagnosis. He explained that the coil on my air conditioner was still under warranty and that frozen coils are often caused by restricted airflow, not a failed coil. He suggested I replace the furnace filter, let the system thaw, and try it again. That simple fix solved the problem, and the system has been running perfectly ever since. Jody's honesty, knowledge, and willingness to troubleshoot instead of jumping straight to an expensive replacement saved me thousands of dollars. I can't recommend Aquatech enough. Lesson learned: Change your furnace filter regularly and if you want honest, knowledgeable HVAC service, call Aquatech!

These guys are the real deal. 👍🏻✅ I highly recommend them. Very knowledgable, organized, efficient, clean, responsive and professional. Their pricing is also very competitive. Jody worked with me to design the system best suited to my Mom’s needs and budget and is very knowledgable, responsive, and great to deal with. Marco the PM / Foreman ran his team very well and was also pleasure to deal with. The system works great and we’re very happy with it! I should also mention that they are also great with follow up. I had a minor concern & they returned within a few days and resolved it. Their 10 year labour warranty is also great peace of mind! 5 STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quintin and the whole Aquatech team really impressed me with their excellent customer service and their kind and conscientious install team. To top that off, their pricing was dramatically lower than everyone else I called. Wow! Will absolutely recommend them to anyone I know that is looking for heating or AC in their home or business.

I recently had a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump installed by Aqua-tech, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Trevor, the technician who handled the installation, was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Throughout the process, the communication was excellent; he truly listened to my needs and feedback, ensuring the system was positioned and configured exactly where I wanted it to optimize both comfort and aesthetics. The pricing was very fair for the quality of the equipment and the high standard of workmanship provided. Once the installation was complete, Trevor took the time to provide a thorough walkthrough of the system, making sure I was completely comfortable with how to operate it and get the most out of its features. I was also pleased to learn that they offer exceptional annual maintenance services to keep the unit running efficiently for years to come. I highly recommend Aqua-tech to anyone looking for professional HVAC installation and reliable, customer-focused service.

Had a great experience with Aquatech installing a heat pump+furnace+hot water heater. From the quote, to the install team, to the admin everyone was great to work with, good at explaining things, and keeping on top of anything that has come up. Would recommend! EDIT: Had some issues come up when the first winter came around. After a few visits of diagnosing it it was clear all devices had not been tested at the same time; not great from my perspective as an engineer when it comes to thoroughness.

Aquatech is an absolutely incredible Company. From the moment I corresponded with Samantha in their front office to the meeting with Jody to the incredible installation by Jugraj all I can say is WOW WOW WOW ! We had our Mitsu electric heat pump installed in September 2025 and wanted to wait a bit before writing a review. In my research, the heat pump installation prices are very competitive across the board, even when comparing the same unit size and brand. It really comes down to the company's reputations. We chose Aquatech because of it. The sales process went well. I had the salesperson came back twice to make sure the existing measurements fit the new unit as we had a tight space. Note to everyone, what the salesperson proposed may not be what the installer would do. This created a difference of expectations, as in our case. The installers were on time and did an adequate job of cleaning after each day. However, they also left a film of soot on our sink after each day. They cracked a corner on one of our floor tiles and smeared some mastic sealant on our baseboard (remedied after a month of waiting). Additionally, there were debris and dust in the base box where the air handler unit (indoor unit) sat on top. It would have taken the installer like 10 seconds to wipe it off but that did not happen. The installer also used an old rusty metal strap to secure the copper lineset. The metal straps that secure the expansion and water heater tank were not proper water tank straps. These are the little mishaps that points to unprofessionalism. The cooling fins on our air handling unit (evaporator coils) were pushed in on several places. Apparently, this is a frequent occurrence that can happen during manufacturing process. I would say the manufacturer needs to change their process. And the contractors should return the items to send them a message. Luckily, there were no leaks. It just gave me this unease feeling. We also had our gas hot water tank switched to electric hot water tank. They installed the wrong size. I noticed it only by chance, and it was remedied. The installer spent minimal time showing you the basic operations of the thermostat. It can be daunting for elderly people to operate the thermostat. You will need to go online or get someone to go online to get instructions. We found out that you need passwords to setup the schedule which the Installer neglected to share. Additionally, the thermostat temperature sensor was set to measure the room temperature at the location of air handler unit rather than where the thermostat was installed (living spaces). This caused about 2-3 degrees difference in room temperature PS. This is general information for homeowners. The Energy Saving Program (ESP) is created to support the HVAC industry. Thus, the heat pump registered contractors have a monopoly over pricing for installing heat pump and related services such as electrical panel upgrade. Electrical service panel upgrade has $1500 rebate for eligible participants when it is done in conjunction with heat pump installation. The CleanBC website did not specify the need for registered electrical contractor to claim the $1500 rebate. I later learned electrical upgrade services must be contracted under the umbrella of a heat pump contractor or the electrician must be a registered contractor with ESP. I searched the CleanBC website for registered electrical contractors and none were listed for the lower mainland area. CleanBC should ensure there are registered electrical contractors available for homeowners since it is a requirement to claim the rebate. The lack of listed ESP registered electrical contractors essentially allow ESP heat pump contractors to dictate the price of electrical services. There is really no recourse for homeowners who want a competitive pricing on electrical service work. The contractor for the province, Clearesult, who manages the rebate program is not working in the interest of the consumers. Rather, they bootlick the heat pump industry. The quote for my electrical services was double of what a non-registered program licensed electrician charged. Do your research.
