• Recently had a 24 year old R22-based HVAC system go kaput. Roc, Ron, and Josh are an all-star three-man team (Roc's the "boss man," Ron's the job scheduler and accountant, Josh has a lot of energy). Got multiple quotes from several places and went with ASAP. I opted to install a whole brand new HVAC system instead of trying to piecemeal it as I already knew the various parts were bound to fail over the next few years even before I started getting quotes (compressor and condenser coil already shot, blower was next in line, and the furnace was "acting funny"). Every major component was either dead or on life support. They respected my decision to just replace the whole mess - they and I were less eager to install another really heavy 90% furnace even though that was all that they could get from the manufacturer. They were professional and friendly and even got the job done in about 2 hours less than they said they would. I learned a few things about the new refrigerant being used and, like them, really wish R22 wasn't banned. Not much can be done about it though (EPA rules/regulations). New system works great. ~$12K out of pocket for a 5.0 ton American Standard (Silver). I was quoted elsewhere upwards of $23K - yikes! Highly recommend ASAP Air for their honesty and integrity and professionalism.

• It was time for a new A/C unit. A friend recommended ASAP Comfort Specialists. Ron came by and gave us a couple of options and estimates. His prices were fair so we contracted with him. We decided to go with a whole new systems, gas furnace and A/C. Ron quickly installed the system with his son, took them less than 1/2 a day. Friendly and efficient! They gave me an estimate the same day I called and installed the new unit in a week. The price was fair and comparable to other estimates that I got, but without any pressure sales tactics, or attempts to upsell stuff I didn’t want or need. Ron figured out what I’d need to be comfortable in our home and answered all of my questions about options and alternatives. Installation went smoothly. His crew was courteous and clean. The ASAP team went above and beyond refusing delivery of the first unit which had some damage and getting it replaced from the supplier, even though that meant the job taking longer for them to complete and having to schedule another crane. They also ran a new communication wire so I could keep my current thermostat (which I love) with my new system. I am very happy with the system ASAP installed. • My old HVAC system went out in September 2019. It was 36 years old. They were quite responsive and even loaned me a portable a/c until they could install my new one. I was more than pleased. All the maintenance service calls they have made since then were thorough. The service tech, Josh, could not have been nicer or more well informed than he has been.
