• I made an appointment to have an air conditioner assess and looked at.They told me 1 o'clock in a house that had no air conditioner at 2 o'clock.I called to find out where the service tech was and they forgot to call and tell me that he would not be out there for an additional three hours. After taking my 3-year-old grandchild out of a 100 plus degree house so that she could cool down as well. They sent a service tech over 45 minutes later. Then when I asked for a copy of the bid in order to send it to the person who will pay the bill, Who also asked me to get the bid, He told me he had to talk to a supervisor. I explained when I set the appointment that I am a disabled veteran and I have not had an air conditioner for a week. And this is the service I received.

• Called on a Sunday, Tech came out for $145 no problem. Issues was a bad squirrel cage, supposedly causing a bad blower motor. Part was ordered and tech returned the following Friday to replace cage and motor. Motor was incorrect and did not cool house (was not charged for motor but tech left it in and said there should be no issues with the motor), tech returned to turn up motor but nothing changed. I called another HVAC shop and they stated motor was wrong but I should continue using Bishop so they correct the issue. Bishop tech stated it sounds like low freon but that the last time I got a text or call, he hasn't reached out or stopped by since. I called other shop back and had them return to look over entire system. Stated motor was wrong and no other issues were noted, they replaced motor and system has been working like it should of. I requested all parts that were removed to be left with me and that's what I should've done with Bishop. Week and a half without AC for something simple. EDIT: After speaking with management I will give Bishop another opportunity, he was honest and wanted to make it right which respect. It seemed the tech was doing his own thing. I did change my rating.

• After reading great reviews, we chose and trusted bishop Air services. My establishment requested for a new ice machine to be installed. We had arranged a day for them to inspect and quote but they never showed up. Okay! I understand, things happen and we get busy! At least lets us know you won't make it. The next day we called and arranged at 4 pm but they came at 2 pm. The Ice machine has not been delivered yet…. They left immediately and came back at 4 pm. The ice machine is working properly and we paid the $542.Wait! But they sent an additional invoice for the day they came at the wrong time. The invoice shows a job quote for 1 hour $87 and they credited the $87, but they decided to charge 2 hours for coming and returning for $174. Very confused…. Why isn’t included in one bill for installation?! I made a call and wanted to speak to a manager on 8/24 at 8:45 am. I explained the situation to a lady and she stated the manager will be there in 15min. to return my call. Never heard back. The next day, I emailed, and no reply. I called again on 8/30 and the same lady answered the phone and stated the manager is on vacation and will call me back today. I waited today 8/31 and no one has yet to reach me…. I want to know why I am being billed for 2 hours of which I did not request. This bill is unacceptable.

• My a/c was running nonstop but the air coming out of the vents wasn't cold. Initially I figured it was caused by the 117° heat wave we were experiencing. A couple days later the problem got worse, so I called my home warranty company and they connected me to some random repair company. I was told they couldn't come out to my home for five days. I made the appt. but wondered if I could survive for five days. It was 106° outside and 95°+ in my house. I started calling a/c companies figuring I would forgo my warranty company and just pay out of pocket. Company after company said no appointments were available. Many of them even advertised 24 hour emergency a/c repair but didn't answer their phones. Then I called Bishop Air Service. That's when everything changed. The person who answered the call was super friendly and helpful. She assured me they could help me either later that day or the next day. Within minutes I received a call from a repair tech. I was put on the schedule for the following morning. The showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed my a/c unit and I had ice cold air flowing again within about 15 minutes! This is a professional, efficiently run company with great employees, a reasonable response time and compassion for their customers. Their level of customer service is excellent and the cost of the repair was minimal. My technician was honest and informative and just an all around nice guy. I highly recommend Bishop Air Service. You will be happy with their service.
