I needed to replace a relatively new system that was so poorly installed that chronic problems were typically requiring parts to be ordered – rendering the system useless for days. The owner (Dan) developed a plan of action and was involved every step of the way (even being present during the installation). He addressed my part sourcing concerns and provided a roadmap that would deliver what I wanted while also making this a long-term solution. This job was a full changeover to a completely new system (A/C and furnace from heat pump / electric heat). It was done exactly as Dan described it would be – no surprises, and the only evidence of Chapman’s crew being there was the comfort they left behind. Everything was installed, things put back in place, and no scratches / mess left behind. I highly recommend if you care about quality, attention to detail, willingness to understand your needs, and working with a company that will provide great value for the money spent. I’m so glad to find a company I can trust!

Technicians performed diagnostics while performing annual preventive maintenance on my Generac back up electricity generator. I’m pleased that they found the defective battery. They prevented a start up failure when I might need power.

I trust Chapman with all the HVAC repair and service at all my properties. No one has bird-dogged a particular problem I was having, at 5:00 on a Friday. Great company!

I suggest to look elsewhere for service. Update to response from Owner: I have no idea what the Owner is talking about, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Disappointed with the A/C service I received on 6/4. Paid over 1k and my house was still hot. Had to call another company to finally get the house cold on 6/6.

We have used Chapman services several times this past year on several different A/C units and they were quick to respond and got us up and going quickly. They were on time and professional. Each time they explained the problem and gave options with fair pricing. I highly recommend you give them a call if you’re in need of their services.

This company has been the best so far we have needed. Heat condensation drain to outside freezing year after year resulting in no heat during coldest time of year. Previous company made a short lived bypass as needed for 5 years. Gave up and called Chapman's. Not only did they fix this problem reasonably, but fixed the drain pipe that had been leaking quickly. Yearly maintenance now to the company that cares! Thank you Dan and everyone. Veteran to the rescue again! Lifetime customer!!

First it was Cold! The tech kept working up until 8:00 PM to discover the fault. The next morning three men showed up armed with a plan to get me fixed in two hours. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Thank you to the Chapman team. (My wife is very happy- and we all know what that means!)

My husband, Ben Youngblood, left a review earlier about my conversation with Chapman today. As Chapman stated in their response, we had already had 2 electricians come out and they gave the same diagnosis for our electrical panel. However, the warranty company wasn’t satisfied and wouldn’t cover the panel replacement until we had Chapman come out to give their diagnosis. While speaking to Chapman (which was at 4:40, not after hours as far as I know - I assume regular business hours end at 5 but they just advertise as 24/7…), he asked several questions which I answered…I noted that our power was still off due to the arcing and it not being safe. He then told me that the arcing would only possibly result in the wire melting in half, “it wouldn’t explode or anything” making it sound unnecessary and overly cautious to still have the power off even though that’s what the fire department told us to do. He also said it would be maybe Thursday or Monday before they could come out (how about that 24/7 service?) My husband works from home, we have pets, and I’m pregnant so we cannot continue going without power or risking turning the power back on and there being a fire. In his reply to my husband’s review, he takes no responsibility for the inaccurate and unsafe information he provided during the phone call and instead frames the customer as the problem acting as if we’re unwilling to give grace because we “didn’t get our way on the spot.” Our warranty company also sent Chapman out for our HVAC unit a couple years ago and their quote was WAY overpriced. So not only are they not professional, they overcharge and apparently don’t actually provide 24/7 services. Edit to respond to owner’s response: I didn’t ask for anything for free. Of course after having paid two other companies already but the home warranty company not being satisfied with their diagnosis, we weren’t thrilled to have to pay a third company. But we didn’t expect anything for free. The owner never even offered “emergency services” though I made it clear we needed it fixed ASAP. I was only told it would be several days before someone could come out. When I described the arcing, burning smell, etc over the phone, I was told the arcing wasn’t dangerous and we could turn our power back on without concern (though the fire department had told us otherwise.) The owner hasn’t denied saying that, or explained what he meant in the unlikely event that maybe I misunderstood what he said. I’m sure it goes without saying how unprofessional the owner has been in handling any negative feedback from customers. He takes no responsibility for his own poor customer service or incorrect information about the danger of arcing, and instead frames the customers to be the problem. It also took over a year for him to respond to my review.

AC unit was not cooling, called the techs, after $597.00 and a facetime visit with their boss, and a second visit in one day, STILL no AC. The boss(Dan Chapman) came out the next day, which was Saturday 9/21/24, and requested $600 more dollars for the second visit Friday evening and his services. Needless to say, still no AC. The boss said that the compressor needed to be replaced or I needed another unit (about $6500). Convinced him that I'm not using the freon that they put in the unit because the unit is not getting cool. So he dropped the price to $300. $897 total, still no AC. The following Monday I called another AC service for a 2nd opinion, the ac unit was 12.2 lbs OVER the amount of freon, which caused the compressor to stop working. He charged me $24.00 to service my AC, and my family and I are enjoying COLD air. Lesson learned!! Happy to say, I found a New AC company that I can trust.

Dan and his crew replaced two a/c units in two days at the hottest time of the year. They worked late to make sure every feature was correct and fully explained them to us. They even called later to make sure we were fully satisfied, and Dan came to be present when the city inspector came by. Eighteen months ago, after a lightning strike damaged one of our systems, his crew repaired it and installed a whole house surge suppressor. We have used their simi-annual inspection service for several years and have been very satisfied. Quick reliable service at a reasonable price.

Wow I just had an amazing experience with Chapman Service. This is the first time working with this company and they are very I talked with Dan this morning about the situation with my home and getting the air conditioning unit ready for the summer. Dan was extremely knowledgeable and answer all of my questions to the T! He was able to immediately have Jeremy come by to do maintenance on the unit. Not only did Jeremy do a stellar job (and providing before and after pictures of the work) but also he walked me through everything he was doing step by step. He went the extra mile to give me suggestions on important details that needed to be addressed. I HIGHLY recommend this company and look forward to working with them for years to come. Very professional!!

Dan and his techs were very helpful. Solved the problems created by another HVAC company quickly and were very reasonable to deal with. I prefer to deal with locally owned companies and owners that are easy to deal with and accessible!

I placed a service call with Chapman about troubleshooting a burning smell coming from our heat vents. Mike was able to come out on the same day and took care of my issue within a few hours. He was upfront about the work and the cost, very friendly and prompt, and the problem is fixed! Thanks Chapman!
