  • On time - professional, friendly and completed maintenance in a timely manner. I always feel that I'm getting a professional, reliable report on the condition of my HVAC units. Great company.

  • THE ABSOLUTE BEST! We had no a/c for 4 days in 90+ degree heat. Our usual a/c company came out and said the compressor was shot due to a bad capacitor. They quoted about $2000. The system is only 4 years old. We called Charlotte Comfort Systems and Robin had a tech out to us that day! Turns out the capacitor was blown but the compressor was fine. Total cost @$360 ! UNREAL… we now will only use Charlotte Comfort Systems. They are our new “go to” and we could not be happier. Our neighbors made the referral to us and we have passed it on to another neighbor looking for a replacement for the current provider. Honesty, great customer service, great technician, what more can you ask for?!

  • ⭐ 1/5 I’m writing this review in support of my dad because I’ve personally watched how frustrating this entire situation with the North Carolina Energy Saver program has become for him. A representative came out to his home, looked over everything, and it seemed like the process was finally moving forward. Then, a couple of days later, he was told that the person who came out had experienced a death in the family. If that happened, I genuinely feel for that employee and his family. Nobody should be expected to ignore a family emergency or come back to work before they are ready. But what I do not understand is why one employee being unavailable should seemingly bring my dad’s entire project to a stop. This is a company. There should be someone else who can step in, review the information, communicate with the customer, and keep the process moving. If another person needs to come back out to the house, then send someone. If there are notes from the original visit, have another employee review them. At the very least, someone should be keeping my dad informed. Instead, I’ve watched him continue trying to get answers and wondering what is happening with his NC Energy Saver project. That is what bothers me the most. The issue is not that an employee had to take time away. The issue is that the company should have a backup plan when something like that happens. My dad should not be left chasing people down, waiting for phone calls, and wondering whether anyone is actually working on his case. And when communication is this poor, it unfortunately starts making customers question everything they are being told. I am not accusing anyone of lying about a family tragedy, but a company should never handle a situation so poorly that a customer is left wondering whether an explanation is legitimate or simply another delay. From what I have personally witnessed, this situation has been handled very unprofessionally. My dad is not asking for special treatment. He is asking for someone to communicate with him, take responsibility for the project, and move the process forward. I sincerely hope the company fixes this, assigns someone who can actually handle his case, and gives him clear answers about what happens next. Until that happens, I completely understand why he is so frustrated, and based on what I have watched him go through, I would be very cautious about recommending this company to anyone else trying to use the North Carolina Energy Saver program.

  • ⭐ 1/5 — Extremely Unprofessional Experience I am extremely disappointed with the way this company has handled my North Carolina Energy Saver program project. They came out to my home, spent time looking at everything, and went over the work that needed to be addressed. Naturally, I thought the process was finally moving forward. Then, approximately two days later, I was told that the gentleman who came to my home had experienced a death in his family. First, if that truly happened, I genuinely feel for him and his family. Losing someone is serious, and I would never criticize an employee for needing time away because of a family tragedy. However, what I do have a major problem with is a COMPANY allowing my entire project to seemingly come to a halt because one employee is unavailable. A company is not supposed to operate as though one person is the entire organization. If the person assigned to my Energy Saver project is unavailable for an extended period, then assign someone else. Have another employee review his notes. Send another representative out if necessary. Call me, explain what is happening, and give me a clear plan for moving forward. DO SOMETHING. Instead, I am once again left wondering what is happening with my NC Energy Saver project and why I have to keep chasing companies for basic communication and follow-through. I also sincerely hope that a death in someone’s family would never be used simply as an excuse to delay dealing with a customer. I have absolutely no way of knowing the circumstances, so I am not accusing anyone of doing that. But because of the way this entire situation has been handled, it unfortunately left me questioning what was going on in the first place. That is exactly what poor communication does — it destroys a customer’s confidence. Regardless of the reason that particular employee is unavailable, there is still a customer on the other end who has been waiting for assistance through a North Carolina program designed to help homeowners make important improvements to their homes. Where is the backup plan? Where is the manager? Where is the person who takes over the file when another employee becomes unavailable? Where is the communication with the homeowner? I should not have to repeatedly call, wait, wonder, and chase people down just to find out whether anything is actually being done. This has become incredibly frustrating and, in my opinion, completely unprofessional. Personal emergencies happen, and employees absolutely deserve time away when they do. But a professionally run company should have procedures in place so that one employee’s absence does not leave a customer’s entire project sitting in limbo. At this point, I don’t want excuses. I want communication, accountability, and someone assigned to my NC Energy Saver project who can actually move it forward. If this company resolves the situation, communicates with me consistently, and follows through, I will gladly update my review. Until then, based on the way my project has been handled, I cannot recommend them to other homeowners trying to navigate the NC Energy Saver program.

  • This company replaced my entire hvac system in 2017. I’ve used them twice a year for preventative maintenance. I always maintain my system. The technicians are not dependable or reliable and frankly they are dishonest. They will tell the dispatch team they finished a job and they didn’t. They miss appointments. They don’t show up. They half fix stuff. I caught them red handed because I took pictures of my hvac unit this time before the preventative maintenance session and after and it looked exactly the same. Same cobwebs. Same leaves. Same Pinestraw. They never cleaned the coils or vacuumed it out. They say they did the preventative maintenance on 6/22 but by 8/1 my hvac system was off and not working? Why? Clogged drain line. After 6 weeks? No they didn’t do what they said they did. You can’t trust these con artists. Owner will not call you back. Customer service is lacking. It’s always something with these guys.

  • Terribly run company. Owner doesn’t have a clue what serving a customer looks like or how to put his customers and their needs ahead of his personal schedule. He doesn't return calls, makes excuses for everything and points the finger at everyone but himself. My elderly parents do all of the regular maintenance and have for years, but they always have issues with their AC unit or have even had issues with a thermostat being installed and programmed correctly. Today was day 11 that they have been without AC in August where the outdoor temperature has consistently been in the 90’s.. Their bedroom has been 85+ degrees for the past week and a half. Totally unacceptable!! What is the point of having a service contract when the company is incapable of providing any service. On multiple occasions, my parents would be waiting for the technician to service their AC, fix something else, etc and they would wait at home all day because they NEVER showed up or were 3+ hours late. Why give an arrival window of time when you have zero intentions and lack the courtesy to provide them with updates when you know you are going to be so late or not make it at all. Don’t waste your money, your time, or your energy on this company unless you want to hear excuse after excuse. This place is a total mess so save yourself the frustration. Use literally anyone else.

  • Very dependable. I'd gladly recommend them to anyone. I was able to leave them a message after-hours and they were at my door 8:30 the next morning to get my AC functioning again. You can depend on when you speak with Robin or Carolyn. I'm beginning to think they must run the show. Good company and good people.

  • Tech was on schedule, very professional.

    Jeff D.

  • Very professional company, from the first day dealing with the sales staff up to the install of the heat /air conditioning systems. Salesman was very helpful in explaining the different systems available and gave me the price on each system so I could choose what was best for me. Day of install went great, company workers were on time, introduced their selves and went to work. They took pride in their work, explained how to work the new systems to my wife & I and left no questions unanswered. Each time the workers came into the home they covered their shoes with covers so as to not track anything into our home. I would highly recommend Charlotte Comfort Systems to anyone that needs service on their equipment or purchase new equipment.

    Bill F.
