They did a perfect and complete and tidy job and my new heating and cooling system is working beautifully. The cost was competitive and the work was well done. • We used Deckard Heating for a number of years to service our old HVAC system. The time came when I needed to replace the entire system and I could not think of anyone else I felt comfortable doing the work. Dan and his team worked with me on customizing some of the duct sizes and increasing cold air return size. The compressor, furnace, heat pump and air handler were completely upgraded and replaced. Fantastic work, great crew. At this point the heat and air have never worked this well. Constant temperature control in a two zone system. Dan personally participated in the installation, testing and operation of the entire system. Fantastic job !

• My experience with Deckard Heating and Cooling was markedly unsatisfactory and raises significant concerns regarding the company’s diagnostic accuracy, professional conduct, and adherence to basic standards of customer service. Following an incorrect diagnosis issued by one of the company’s technicians, I promptly notified the owner, Mr. Dan, and provided clear information demonstrating that the assessment was erroneous. Mr. Dan expressly stated that the matter would be addressed without delay and that the diagnostic fee would be refunded. Despite this assurance, no refund was ever issued, compelling me to initiate a formal dispute through my financial institution in order to recover the funds. While the company initially presented itself in a professional manner, its conduct changed notably once responsibility for the misdiagnosis became evident. Communication ceased, and the company disengaged from the matter entirely. As a result, I was required to obtain a second opinion from another licensed HVAC provider. Their technician identified the actual issue within minutes: a defective thermostat, not a furnace motherboard as previously claimed. I do not typically submit negative reviews; however, the combination of an inaccurate diagnosis, failure to honor a stated commitment, and lack of accountability created a situation in which documenting my experience became necessary. This is particularly concerning given that the incident occurred during a period of cold weather, when timely and accurate service is essential for customer safety and well‑being. It is my expectation that Deckard Heating and Cooling will review this matter internally and take the appropriate steps to improve diagnostic procedures, communication practices, and overall customer service. Doing so would help ensure that future clients receive the level of professionalism and reliability that should be standard within the HVAC industry.
