I didn’t expect they would have someone available today when I called, but was pleasantly surprised! I took the 12p-5p appointment for a thermostat that was on the fritz. Amanda was awesome! She called me and was able to come a little earlier than scheduled. She was thorough, and explained everything perfectly after the new thermostat was installed. She was polite, friendly, and respected our home! You’ve got a great employee!

Company was very unresponsive to my attempts to make an appointment for service and renew my annual maintenance agreement. Left a request for an appointment on web site on September 4, received no call. Called on September 14 at 10:30am left voice mail and received no call. Gave a final chance today at 12:30pm. Finally got a person to schedule fall maintenance on November 10, first time they had a 8:00am appointment available. Fortunately I was not having an emergency needing immediate service.

We called on a hot weekend this summer because the AC was running at my mother in laws house but not blowing cold air. Custom Air has installed and serviced our AC before so it’s a name we trust. They inspected our thermostat, the unit, filter, etc and said everything seems to be ok. We were told it’s just too hot to keep up. This house is well insulated and it’s a newer system that hasn’t had issues keeping the house at 76. We did mention turning the breaker off and on it did seem to blow cold air. They assured us it’s just hot and that’s all. After a week of this, we called another AC company who quickly identified the system was well beyond the amount of Freon and there was a small leak. Ever since the AC has been fine since the repair. We tried calling Custom Air and emailing them to check if they checked the Freon like they said. We were really disappointed to spend the money on an emergency service on the weekend to be told it’s ok, just hot outside. We never heard back. I lost a lot of trust in them and their word. They are very helpful with scheduling service and setting things up, but don’t seem to want to talk with us when we are unhappy about the repair. They do good work, but I’m not sure they will stand by it.
