  • I called yesterday to have them come look at our ac unit. The service tech came it and was very respectful. He had all parts on his truck to fix our ac unit. He had us up and running very quickly.

  • Wonderful service today from Amanda with Gahanna Heating & Cooling! I put in a request for service overnight and received 3 call backs before 8:30! Erin promised a technician between 12-4. Amanda arrived around 12:10 found the problem and fixed it. When she came upon problems she went above and beyond to get the right parts on Friday afternoon. Thank you!

  • Gahanna Heating and Cooling installed a New furnace and air conditioning about 8 years ago in our house. the heating was good , but the air conditioning while running would leak water from the top of the furnace and down the top and side of the furnace onto the floor. I would call them every spring and they would come out to fix this issue. Each time the tech would try different things to fix it.This would work for awhile and start again. Today a different tech came out to service the air conditioner and address the leaking. She (Amanda) was very professional and knowledgeable and did testing that had not been done before, She changed some things an so far It is working well. We are very impressed with Amanda and her work to address the leak. She is a great tech and did a wonderful job on our air condition and furnace.

  • Imagine the feeling of my relief of seeing the Gahanna Heating and Cooling van today! Our AC stopped working properly last night and with the heat yesterday and today, the house was feeling a bit warm. Major props to Gahanna Heating and Cooling for a quick fix. Amanda was so friendly and efficient (and pumped to support women in a trade! 👏)

  • Ron is a dishonest broker. He sold us an $11,000+ York HVAC unit in 2024 and we've had nothing but problems ever since! One year later, we had to pay an additional $500 for a warranted part, but he neglected to explain that the labor is only covered for 30 days. I've had hair dryers with a better warranty than that. Apparently the product is NOT worth the box it came in. Now another 9 months later and we are having problems again but he won't come and service it! NICE. So we are strapped trying to find another York dealer because he has the market share in Columbus, OH. People! Run, don't walk. Go anywhere else.

  • If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I am not one to leave a bad review but this service was insanely horrible. If you need heating and cooling services PLEASE find a different company. During the process of selling our home we had to use this company to replace our heating/cooling system. We were told it would be about 12k for a 1,400sf house. We were given better estimates (by thousands) but the sellers demanded this company. We were told it would be done in a day. When I got home from work the service wasn't done and the techs seemed stressed. We asked many times if everything was alright, eventually one of them told us he wired something incorrectly and didn't know how to fix it. Another tech came to assist (Gabe was so kind & respectful!) They couldn't address the problem so we went without heat and my baby had to sleep at a relatives house. The next day they fixed the inside unit but stated the outdoor unit broke and would not be able to be installed until the following week so we had to use emergency heat. The following week it was fixed. When we brought up the idea of negotiating the price down slightly Ron yelled at my husband and threatened to break onto our property and remove the unit and to not give the warranty. We got overcharged for a horrible service. We had to have my baby sleep in a different house, my in laws had to drive down from Sandusky to be there for them to fix things twice, and we have to pay hundreds extra for the emergency heat charges. Please please please do not hire this company!!!!

  • To start, the customer service staff (Erin) and the technicians are excellent. I appreciate the work they did and the support they provided. The one star rating is due to the quoting process and the leadership -- at least the leadership I had contact with. The lack of transparency, high price tag, and inconsistency in quote language are my main issues. For example, I was told that I "had" to get a new thermostat as part of the remedy for my situation. In the quote it included a specific brand/model thermostat, when they came to address my situation I immediately noticed that they were installing a 'Branded' thermostat, meaning it had 'Gahanna Heating and Cooling' on it. This was concerning for me, as clearly they ordered these with their name of it and clearly they were offering/making folks use these. I will be hesitant about doing business with them in the future. Update, 10/28/25: called GH&C due to an issue with the devices they installed, asked them to come inspect. As always Erin was great and scheduled a time. Update, 10/30/25: received a call from Ron, Service/Operations lead, informing me that due to my review they are only coming out to inspect due to the warranty. As a BTC Service Leader, I would have liked for Ron to have asked me about this review and the legitimate concerns I raised.

  • I had my HVAC installed by Gahanna Heating and Cooling just one year ago, and now it is making a horrendous noise without me doing anything to it. When I called for help, the receptionist on the phone was dismissive and completely unhelpful with scheduling. Even though this was an urgent issue because the unit isn’t working properly, she didn’t offer to send anyone out for two full days. They couldn’t even give me a specific appointment time, only a vague 4-hour window that ended at 4:30 pm... not feasible for anyone working a normal day. Her snobbiness and inflexibility were totally unacceptable. Thankfully, a technician came earlier than expected and he was lovely. But despite the unit still being under warranty, they wanted to charge me over $1,000 just for shipping and labor to replace a blower and wheels. They also told me no financing options were available. After looking up prices online, it’s clear their markup is outrageous. It is nowhere near this cost at other places. When I brought this up, they were extremely rude and dismissed me as a customer. I am truly baffled by Gahanna’s excessive pricing, rude and inflexible customer service, and apparent lack of loyalty to their customers. I strongly recommend NEVER using this company.

  • Gahanna Heating and Cooling took $15,000 and left us with malfunctioning equipment For details, I received quotes from four companies in the area and selected Gahanna Heating and Cooling because they seemed to understand the scope and scale of the project and were willing to discuss options. They were approachable and seemingly intelligent on HVAC issues and weren’t just trying to sell us. They were not the cheapest and part of the reason they were selected is because they were on Mitsubishi’s list of approved installers. We agreed on a contract in March and agreed to delay installation until weather was better since we would be without heating for several days and to accommodate their schedule. The installation began April 8th through April 10th and continued April 15th through the 17th to install a mini-split system with three indoor units and one outdoor unit (Six days). A week after the install, we were able to actually test the system because the temperature warmed up. The indoor unit was covered in ice and the room felt like a walk-in cooler and it was making a terrible sound intermittently. They came out and inspected the system and said the levels were all fine and the tests came back normal. (Day 7). We then paid the full amount assuming that any issues were addressed. A week later and same issue of noise and icing and also water was dripping from the indoor unit onto the floor. They came out with an expert on mini-splits and recharged the system with refrigerant and again and said all tests came back normal. (Day 8). A week later, same issue of loud noise, icing and inconsistent temperatures where one unit is cold and never turns off and other units are blowing out warm air. A tech came back out and found that the wires for two of the indoor units had been crossed during installation. That was fixed and the levels of refrigerant were checked. (Day 9). When we could test the system again, we had the same issues of excessively cold air in one room and warm air in another. Gahanna came back out with representatives from Trane and found no issues with the system other than the pumps and could not recreate or diagnose an issue since there were no codes in the system. (Day 10). We had to purchase window units since this was during the peak of summer. A month later, new pumps and wireless thermostats were installs and the issues persist (Day 11). It’s been nearly five months without an operable system. It cannot regulate the temperature and randomly produces excessively cold or warm humid air and the vanes and fan seem to reset themselves. I’ve held off on this review because I wanted to give them the opportunity to fix the issue. However after 11 days, five months and now they’ve stopped returning my calls or emails I’m left with no option. We’re tired, frustrated, hot, and out a lot of money and time. Our only hope is that we can help others avoid our mistake. Stay away from Gahanna Heating and Cooling or retain a lawyer.

  • Open and honest communications in today’s world is a rarity. I over researched and over solution’ed my needs and was recommended a less expensive solution than i T H O U G H T i needed. Years later its still functikning yhat was it was designed to function. i have also learned didnt need a whole home humidifier but would benefit from an ionizer. humidity is now acceptable all year round, and i have recored before and after filter replacement weights proving it adds value to the system. allergy sufferes take note, this makes a difference, as dors Gahanna Heating. i have referred several other friends, all are equally happy. thanks. Ron, Ronnie, Erin and others for the amazing support and service over the years

  • I’m a caregiver for a older gentleman that lives in Gahanna and his air and heater went out in September 2024 and I called them and they came out and put a new heater and air conditioner in there home and they did an excellent job They were very nice and they let us know everything they were doing as they were installing it They cleaned up everything and they came back twice when we had some questions about some things I would recommend them to everyone I know

  • Ghanna Heating and Cooling is honest and can be trusted. I called for an estimate after another company said my furnace needed to be replaced. The sales person came out and looked at the furnace and disagreed. He then sent out their lead technician to check the whole system and he said it didn’t need to be replaced and showed me the test results and photos. They now have a new client going forward. I can’t believe they passed on a big sale to do the right thing. Extremely grateful. You can trust these people to treat you fairly. No high pressure, just great service.

  • A/C went out and had great techs at our house quickly, found out the problem and replaced parts that needed to be replaced the next day. Guys were great and as helpful as we’d hoped for! Great service and great company!

  • I was on I-270 going northbound at about 7:30am this morning when an older caucasian male was driving erratically. I’m not sure if he was late for work or something, but he was tailgating, hopping in front of vehicles, beeping, and flicking people off for not going faster. He did this to multiple vehicles! It was not safe at all. Other vehicles were swerving to the side so that they didn’t get hit. That kind of driving is absolutely unacceptable. It could have resulted in an accident. He was being very aggressive. This is not the fault of the company, but he was driving a company vehicle. Management should reevaluate their employees, I’m sure this is not the type of people they want representing their company in public. I sure wouldn’t want someone who’s aggressive on the road entering my home to fix my HVAC system! That’s scary, please choose your contractor wisely.

  • Did work at an apartment that I manage. Terrible work. Had to have a different HVAC company come in and handle multitude of issues such as low freon, units not getting hooked up to power sources and push back when we asked those issues be resolved.

  • They responded quickly to my call regarding our ac. They came out within the hour and fixed the problem. Very pleasant and easy to deal with. I highly recommend their services.

  • I bought the Unit in 2017. I have spent $1400 dollars to keep it running. $687 with one company and $783 with Gahanna Heating and Cooling. Tech was competent , but I think I got a bad unit installed. You all be judge I did get a call from Gahanna Heating and Cooling and am very satisfied with their explanation of my issue. They are a very very good company and would use them again

  • Thank you, Gahanna Heating & Cooling for getting my furnace back up and running in under a couple hours and for an unbelievably great price! And shame on the big name national competitor that came out before you and found my "furnace to be beyond any hope for repair... but luckily, with the remainder of my system uncompromised, they could have me up and running by tomorrow with a brand new unit for only $7,600". I think not! It's nice to know there are still good, honest companies out there and I'm so glad I found one of them. -GH&C Customer for Life ♥

  • 25 year old unit was low on coolant. I looked at the situation and went with a full heating and air replacement. They were back in 5 days and done by noon. No mess no issues and true to their quote.
