• I shopped for systems and installers for about 9 months before pulling the trigger. The whole process was great and all the workers we very pleasant to deal with. Easy communication and following up, but not spamming. I dealt with about a half dozen companies before hiring Dicks, and I'm glad I held out. They were clearly a way better choice than the others. No drama in the install or use of the system, which was installed about 10 weeks ago. Mini-splits are very quiet and efficient, and they just work. While the team was working, it was clear that they knew what they we doing and they got after it and finished the work very efficiently. I would hesitate to call them for any of their skilled trades work. I really can't name any complaints, maybe a few nitpicks. HVAC is expensive, these guys had a competitive price and were far and away more professional than all the other installers I met with. Definitely shop around, but Dicks should be on your short list. Great work fellas, and shout out to Edgar, John, Cameron, and the rest of Steve's team whose names I don't recall, and of course the office staff!

• They claim to provide a qoute for $69 dollars but added $22 for a diagnostic fee. Said no cold air was coming out of the register. The exact words I used when I called asking for a qoute. Declined their service. Their qoute was $800 to add R14=A and check for leak. Probably would have had them do the work but the nickel-dime struck me as a rip off.

• I had a really great experience with Dick’s Heating & A/C out of Sumner. Edgar, the technician who assisted me, was extremely professional and thorough. My heating unit hadn’t been looked at since 2019, and he gave me really solid advice on whether to replace parts or just go ahead and replace the whole unit. Thanks to his guidance, I’m opting for a full replacement, and they even gave me a great discount when I bundled it with duct cleaning. Overall, a really enjoyable and smooth experience. • I had Dicks replace my 28yo gas furnace and also install a new heat pump. (Dual Fuel System). My initial contact was with Edgar who provided a quote on the spot. It was competitive and I felt like Edgar was knowledgeable and honest. I procrastinated and didn’t hire them for 3 months after the bid. They honored the original bid and scheduled me for the end of the following week. A five-man crew showed up including Edgar on time as arranged. They started at 9 and finished by 4pm. They cleaned up the worksite. They were polite and responsive to questions as the job progressed. All in all, it was a very positive experience. The system is working well with zero issues. Their communications and responses were stellar.

• I left this review which was meant for the Sumner location, on the Wenatchee review page by accident. It would seem that Wenatchee crew do not check on their reviews often but when they did they had this to say. "As much as I would love to take the credit for this wonderful review - I think it may be meant for the Dick's Heating on the West side - we are in Wenatchee". I am therefore leaving this well deserved review on the correct page at last. Dicks Heating and A/C in Sumner is 'Customer Service' at its best. We used them for a furnace fix through our home and appliance warranty at the time. After their visit they offered a yearly maintenance plan which was reasonably priced and after so many years of paying for this service, they said they would come check the furnace out free of charge for the continued life of that furnace and replace (at our cost and purchase) new filters. They kept their word. For a number of years, they continued with that yearly visit until we sold our property and moved. When I rang to inform that they we no longer needed them to keep to the yearly commitment they made, they told me that when we purchased a new property, as long as it was in their area, that they would commit to continuing to service our new furnace (for its life) free of charge again. This company is professionalism at its best as they are about the only company that we have dealt with that put the customer first and foremost. Kudos to them!

• Our heat pump, only two years old, stopped working. The company that installed it is out of business. We called Dick's and they sent Edgar out. He diagnosed the problem and found the part was under warranty thru the manufacturer saving us money. He set the unit to heat on aux until the parts arrived. Today he returned and I was glad it was the same tech. He quickly repaired the heat pump, tested the system and even completed an annual inspection which we have signed on for as the old company did not have that option. I have no problem highly recommending this company and thanking Edgar for his professionalism. You have a new customer.
