• Made a call into scheduling/dispatch and was told I was now on the books for a certain time. The technician called me an hour prior to the earliest time promised and said he was 45 minutes away. He was at my door 45 minutes later, which is fantastic in itself. Mario immediately got to diagnosing the issue and 15 mins later issue found. Stated he would have to check availability and get back with me. Found the part and said it would be a day before they would have it. I asked if there was a possibility to get it quicker and about 2 hrs later, system repaired. This is the kind of service that should not be a surprise, but rather the standard. I will definitely continue to use them to maintain my systems and will recommend immediately when asked.

• Honest, persistent, and more than fair on price ... this is the HVAC company you're hoping to find when you search "second opinion." My 2-story home's AC couldn't keep the upstairs cool in the July heat. Another company came out twice, replaced some parts, and told me there wasn't much more they could do with a system this age. I called Efficient AC for a second opinion and got their tech Evan, who diagnosed a defective expansion valve on my year-old evaporator coil, verified the part was still under manufacturer warranty, and replaced it. When that didn't fully fix it, this company showed its character. Evan came back, dug deeper, and zeroed in on the coil itself ... when he pulled it, oil draining out of the old coil confirmed he was right. They replaced the entire coil and put what I'd already paid toward the job. One more thing worth telling. When the first repair didn't hold, I called their office and told the dispatcher, Penny, that I was willing to consider a whole new system. She could have taken that sale. Instead, she told me not to jump to that ... that Evan would give me an honest assessment first. He did, and it saved me thousands. The system is cooling like it should again. If you want a company that diagnoses instead of upsells, this is the one.

• Absolutely love Efficient. I’ve used them for HVAC, and electrical repair before. This time they installed a new dedicated line for a new ductless mini split in a garage-conversion to family room. No easy task but Trevor and Steven, with a helper, got the job done.
