Many AC companies now pay technicians largely on commission, pressuring them for high dollar sales. The technician, pressured to sell more and motivated by money alone, "finds" larger repairs, filling his pockets. The technician wins, the business owner wins, YOU lose. TemperaturePro Austin does NOT support this model. Technicians are paid a healthy hourly salary. We operate simply on The Golden Rule... treat you like we would like to be treated. • Terrible company. Had an appointment scheduled with them, they ,canceled last minute then asked me to provide times to schedule a follow up. I did, and never heard back even after a follow up. Update: I reviewed the owners response and instead of taking ownership of their inability to accurately capture my information and accountability to something other operations, they assume I’m at fault. Question to the owner — were you at any point an HVAC technician? Notice their response or lack thereof. :)

• I walked into my house today and realized my AC was off, and there was no power to my thermostat. I called TemperaturePro Austin, and they quickly put me in contact with a technician. The tech was fantastic! After some troubleshooting, he walked me through how to clear the line and fix the issue by cleaning out the float switch. Within no time, the power was back on and my house was cooling again. I cannot thank TemperaturePro Austin and their technician enough for their help. Their knowledge, patience, and willingness to walk me through the solution made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommend!

• Tim Hostetter and his team at TemperaturePro have been nothing but exemplary, in the way they communicate, their ability to diagnose the real issue, provided us with timely feedback and first hand support on obtaining hard to find parts and then ultimately fixed the problem. They did not try to upsell us to replace the air handler or complete system, unlike most other firms, but fixed the problem so we can get another few years out of the HVAC. • We have had the opportunity to work with Temperature Pro on 3 separate occasions for 2 homes in Austin (one is a rental) and our cabin in Wimberley when the AC units were not working well. On all of these times their technician Ryan (or David) came to the home as scheduled and provided a detailed diagnostic of what the problem was and whether or not it could be repaired or if it would be more economical in the long run to repair. When full replacement was necessary Tony Mejia contacted us with options and excellent pricing. Crew was dispatched promptly and convenient to my schedule and that of my tenants. His crew were excellent and install was handled in a day and in a professional and courteous manner. Because of how our roof line was built in our home there was a challenge to get one of the units installed. A larger vent return hole had to be cut in the primary bedroom ceiling to accommodate the new unit. They accomplished this including installing a new filter to fit. It looked like this is how it was built from the start. From your initial call to Heidi in the office you will receive excellent service. They are knowledgable and courteous. No matter if the home is in Austin or out in Wimberley we received professional and courteous service with on time arrival and efficient install. They are respectful of your time and property. Since 2022 when we first contacted them for our home AC replacement and again in 2026 for our rental house and cabin, they have provided excellent service. I would not hesitate to recommend Temperature Pro and Tony Mejia for your HVAC repair or replacement.

• Tim came out the same day I called to diagnose my AC unit. He was meticulous in his very thorough exam. in summertime for the last 15 years my AC just didn’t feel like it was running optimally. I have had numerous other professionals come out to check in and they suggested running new ductwork or adding more vents in returns. I even spent thousands of dollars upgrading my insulation in the attic. Nothing has seemed to work. Tim spent two hours cleaning My 💍 outside and inside unit and using his Digno gnostic tools while on the phone with his operations manager, discussing the things that he could see in here with my unit. They finally determined that it’s possible that when my unit was installed 16 years ago, there was one small part that was installed backwards that was preventing my refrigerant from flowing properly Causing the system to work at below 70%. I am grateful for the dedication. He showed finding a reason for my problem. I highly recommend this company.

• If you're reading these reviews it means you have trouble right now and don't want to be messed about. TemperaturePro is for you. We'd had 2 other HVAC firms come out and look at our problem. Neither performed any actual work. One of them texted me after the appointment and recommended we buy a whole new Trane system from him. That was his suggestion, that we should scrap a 4 year-old, high-end Bosch IDS Heat Pump system, lol. The other company's dude ghosted us. Boo. Tim of TemperaturePro showed up and went to work. Like a hound on a hare, he was relentless in his pursuit of the solution. I didn't even think this level of commitment to customer satisfaction existed any more. He followed up; he has incredible knowledge, and was wiling to really dig into to hard problems. And he was always pleasant and affable, to boot. You won't be disappointed in TemperaturePro.

• FYI: I was not asked by anyone at Temperature Pro to post this review. I switched to Temperature Pro two months ago after using Radiant Plumbing and HVAC for years. I am kicking myself for not having made the switch sooner. Rather than constantly upselling expensive, holistic system replacements (as Radiant did), every TP technician understands that I simply need HVAC issues fixed quickly and inexpensively--full system replacements should be rare. Scheduling service appointments with Temperature Pro is easy and Heidi on the scheduling team always communicates clearly about timing. Technicians Ryan and Marvin have both done excellent work. They're friendly, work quickly, and are professional. Temperature Pro is fantastic and I will happily recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services.

• Tim and his team were very helpful with an issue I had concerning my air conditioner and furnace. During a recent visit to make some revisions to my installation I had several questions about why the revisions were needed. My questions were very technical and Tims knowledge of the City of Austin building codes was very helpful. I am an engineer myself and I appreciated all of the detail he provided for each of my questions. It is really difficult to find an HVAC technician these days that isn't trying to upsell you on equipment you do not need. Tim was clear about what was needed and his team was very tidy about making the revisions. I had used another HVAC group for years, but they had gotten very aggressive recently about selling me a new unit.
