• Extremely happy with them. The guy that came out was punctual, respectful and efficient. They diagnosed it quickly and I paid for the repair which from my past experience seemed like a fair price. What truly earns them above a 5 star is that they came back and said we didn’t have to put in as much refrigerant as we thought and here’s the difference back. That’s INTEGRITY!! I would have never in a million years known if they used a little or a lot of refrigerant but they were honest and I’m thrilled with their work.

• Ron did not provide me with working HVAC units and did not honor his warranty when I asked him to return for repairs less than a year after completing the work. The workmanship was poor, and he was extremely difficult to work with throughout the project. I paid over $20,000 and had to turn around and hire another company to fix Ron’s work. We lost all heat in every unit in an apartment complex because he installed units that were not rated for cold weather. Our pipes started freezing and I had to repeatedly call Ron to help us. We had to use portable heaters which left us with an extremely high electrical bill. I also had to pay for drywall repair, repainting, exterior siding repair, and cleanup after the installation. He damaged drywall, installed exposed metal ductwork in the middle of a kitchen even though there was a nearby closet where it could have been concealed, and left expanding foam insulation dripping down the wall. My husband and I were overseas at the time, and Ron called to collect payment and told us the job was complete. We later found out he never passed our city inspection! My tenants also told me they were uncomfortable having him in their home. Overall, this project caused an enormous amount of stress, and I ultimately had to hire another contractor to correct the work. We lost our best tenants and rental income from his poor work. After collecting more than $20,000, Ron did not resolve these issues, and we were left with non-functioning HVAC units and tens of thousands of dollars in additional repair and replacement costs.

• I had father and sons out for my ac unit, which was causing some noise and rattling due to its age. I was very pleased with Ron's diagnosis and service. He determined that though it still had a lot of life left in it, there were some things we could do to help it last longer and mitigate the noise it was making. The first company I had over wanted to sell me a whole new unit, but Father and Sons was honest and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. They're my forever HVAC contractor! In addition to residential, they also do commercial hvac work, so I've recommended them to my business landlord as well.

• The first time I engaged Father and Sons Heating and Cooling Services my heat had gone out on a pretty cold day. That's the way it works, right? He said that they were pretty busy but would do their best to get to me that day, and they did. He was able to get the heat up and running in no time and very reasonably so. I also had a whole house humidifier that I had paid for equipment and installation, from a different provider, that was never completed. I asked if he could get me a quote to complete that service. He did, I already had two quotes to finish the job, but I hired Father and Sons Heating and Cooling, and will be using their services for routine maintenance or whatever other services are needed going forward. When I was younger my uncle, who worked for the gas company where we lived then, would come over and do maintenance on my mom's heating and cooling system or fix it. Every time Ron and his sons have come for service that is who and what they remind me of. I cannot say enough good things about Ron and his sons. They come in, get to work, do what they need to do, yet are friendly, and approachable, well they don't stay for dinner like my uncle might, but I'd say they definitely treat you like family!
