They reworked poorly designed duct work and installed a new compressor and exchanger. It used to blow only warm air, but now it's nice and cold. Armando, Richie, Tommy and Ryan were amazing to work with, super friendly and their experience showed. It's hot work up in the attic, yet they never stopped working and the job was done even sooner than expected. • Everyone near Waltham, MA should use Genove! I can’t say enough good things about this company! Owned a home in Waltham with oil heat for almost 10 years and wish I found them sooner! Called them last year to perform yearly maintenance on an old oil tank and furnace in a crawlspace and they did great work and gave great advice! This is a business you can trust! This year when our furnace stopped working mid December: Called up Genove right away and they had someone out the same day to try and help us! We knew the furnace was on the last of its nine lives so Richie came and took a look and let us know our options! He’s super knowledgeable and let us know about the Mass Rebate program to save us money! We chose to go with a new electric heat pump over just replacing the furnace because our air conditioning unit was older too and we wanted to get it all under control! This was a pretty big job that required them working in a crawlspace that you can’t stand up all the way in which we are very grateful for their hard work! Richie and the rest of the guys showed up early worked with our schedule and really went above and beyond to fix our heating trouble! He also recommended a great electrician to upgrade our electrical panel and take care of the electrical components of the work! It was a seamless job and was great that both entities were familiar working with eachother! Everything ran so smoothly! Armando was great to work with in the office when it came to the proposal and payments as well as getting all of the information needed to submit the Mass Save rebate information after the work was complete! What should have been a very stressful situation quickly became a lot easier when dealing with these guys! They really know their stuff! They were able to get all of this work scheduled before the end of the year to help us out with the rebate and gave us a great heating system for the new year! • We've been happy, and grateful, to be Genove customers for about 30 years. It all started when our furnace failed, in a frigid January, and Genove was able to install a replacement in a much shorter time than our oil dealer at that time was able to do. That quick response was probably because Genove, as part of their excellent customer service, has always maintained a team of heating system professionals, some of them very long term, and are able to mobilize quickly even for major system replacements. Astoundingly, this past January, we had two failures in two weeks; the thermostat failed and the next week a return valve failed. Both problems were fixed the morning of the failures.
