• First dealing with the Hamstra HVAC and everything from start to finish was impressively easy. Our ailing older unit was not quite on its last legs but it was close. Mike, from consulting and sales, explained all our options and made us feel like we were truly appreciated as new customers. All of the options that were needed were clearly explained and explored prior to installation. Then today the installation crew came out (Marc, Joseph and David) and went far above and beyond to make sure the experience was top notch. They were out exactly when they said they would be (0700) and were wrapped up and done by 1200. Not only was it done but it was tested, certified and done correctly. They thoroughly cleaned up and made sure there were no mars on the roof and even though they had to modify our existing air return, cleaned up that completely before completing their job. They then went through the system and how it worked to the point that I am pretty sure anyone would have understood how to operate the new system. The system itself was quite an investment into the property but needed to be done and we did not realize how loud our older system was until this one came on. It even made a dramatic difference in the living area which is the farthest away from the system. Normally there was always between a 3-5°F difference between the back of the house and the front of the house. Now it is pretty spot on across that house which is nice. It moves air more efficiently and delivers cooling to the whole house. Thank you all for such a painless experience and definitely would recommend them for any of your HVAC needs.

• I can't say enough good things about Hamstra Heating and Cooling. Right from the first phone call, I felt the lady that answered the phone was listening attentively to me. Ryan came out to speak with us and find out what we needed for AC. He took his time, explained everything very well. The rest of the team that came to do their part - were wonderful. Dave came to take measurements. The previous company had taken our existing structure down but also took all the sheet metal that went with it. Dave had to redesign it. Then David came with Marco and Andrew to install our new system. They also did a great job. I really felt that we mattered as customers. You can tell when people are doing their best, and that they care about what they are doing. We are so grateful to have found Hamstra. This is a company that actually cares about their customers, does good work and has good communication. I wish I could give them more than 5 Stars. Thank you!

• Update: 10/1/26 - We added an air scrubber to our 7 year old American Standard HVAC system. It will substantially increase the filtered air in our bedroom and bathroom. We added service contracts for the older system and a split- level heating and air conditioning system in our garage. Hector Ramirez was our technician for all this activity. An unexpected need was cleaning the internal fan on the mini-split. Hector didn't blink an eye, just got it done. It was a great morning for us and provided by Hamsra Heating and Air Conditioning. Update: 9/16/26 - A month after the installation of our new HVAC system, Houston Clark today checked over the system's performance from every angle. Houston knew what to look for and measure. I'm very impressed with his thoroughness. Our monthly electric bill reflected about 20 out of 30 days with the new system in place. Our bill was down $80. A full month it probably would have been $100 less. 8/13/26: Hamstra Heating & Cooling are new to us. But starting with Big John, to Rick and today David and Marco, I’m really impressed with their knowledge and recommendations. David and Marco spent 8 solids hours today installing the new system. They did running commentary on what they were doing. The level of detail they go through to make the system work is quite impressive. I absolutely recommend Hamstra Heating and Cooling and their team.

• I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hamstra and specifically, Big John with Hamstra. We needed to replace our entire HVAC system over the summer and after getting quotes from six different companies in Tucson, we went with Hamstra. The customer service provided, the quality of the HVAC system, and the pricing with zero interest financing were all a factor. We were able to afford a nicer system because of the zero interest, and they also sealed our air ducts. Our home is 50 years old and the amount of cold air that was escaping through our air ducts before reaching the different rooms in our home was extensive. Our bills so far have been about half what they were the same time last year. I will never choose any other company for anything related to our HVAC system. I trust them completely.
