  • I seriously cannot express how glad I am to have found this company. They were so communicative, knowledgeable, and got me in quick. I signed up for their yearly maintenence AC plan and thanks to my experience with Jeremy today, I anticipate I will stay a customer for years to come. He was helpful and patient while he answered all my questions. Every repair recommendation he made made sense and he was willing to show me exactly what he was talking about. To top it off, at no point did I feel like I was being baselessly upsold like I feel with other companies. Thanks so much!

  • We've used Samson and Sons HVAC several times and have consistently had a great experience. Their technicians are professional, efficient, knowledgeable and personable. Christian has been our service specialist, and he's been wonderful to work with. We also really appreciate the office staff, who are courteous and helpful with scheduling and communication. It's nice to have an HVAC company we can rely on for consistently great service. We highly recommend Samson and Sons!

  • Long and detailed, so TL;DR - Use these guys! Our Carrier 4-ton A/C went out one evening recently here in southern Arizona. Not a good thing when temps on the horizon are projected to be at 100 degrees or more. I did some self-diagnosis and changed the fuses in the outdoor disconnect box, replaced the capacitor with an Amrad (US-made, high quality), and installed a new contactor - all the common failure items. No luck. I'm wise enough to know that going up in the attic was a no-go at my age, so decided it would need the services of a pro, and did I ever get one! I had previously read a glowing report on social media about an HVAC company here in the area, so after reading their Yelp reviews, I gave them a call. Kyle from Samson & Sons Heating & Cooling came out the following morning, and before beginning, we discussed (and he really listened to) the steps I had previously taken, which helped him to decide where to start, and that was the air handler in the attic. In less than five minutes he had discovered the burnt remains of electric power wires at a burnt wire nut. Thank goodness it was all contained inside a small metal connection box, where charcoal SHOULDN'T be!. Since Kyle has previously worked as a journeyman electrician, he knows how to properly make connections using wire nuts (think twist wires together first!), so that problem is highly unlikely to reoccur. This HVAC failure is complements of the original DH Horton HVAC sub-contractor, which I won't mention in text. Kyle told me he knew who the installing contractor was before I told him, as he had already noticed the ALUMINUM refrigerant lines crossing the attic. I believe they're supposed to be copper, but you KNOW which is cheaper! Kyle pointed out the electrical tape wrapped around the ferruled tubing connector, supposedly to keep air from oxidizing the aluminum tubing, which (after a long time) eventually creates a refrigerant leak (think dis-similar metals). In time, everyone in our development will likely have a problem with this. And so, we again have cool air inside, accomplished at a reasonable cost. These guys KNOW THEIR STUFF, and the science behind providing a quality job! Please, Mark, remain an independent, and don't sell out to "private equity" in my lifetime! You guys are a true Tucson Treasure!

  • The most honest and transparent HVAC company I have ever delt with. We thought we needed to replace our 30 year old HVAC system due to its age. It was still working but thought it was time. At the recommendation of their sales person I engaged them to perform an extensive evaluation of the unit. Their technician Kyle came out, performed a mirid of tests including electrical and pressure testing. He found a couple of corroded wires which he replaced at no additional charge as well as making sure the evaporator drain pan was removing condensate properly. In the end he recommended that since the unit checks out fine, just run it until it dies. As a company who sells new HVAC systems, they had every reason to recommend a replacement. When the unit does die, I will only buy its replacement from Samson and Sons HVAC company.

  • I’ve had nothing but the most professional, knowledgeable and thorough representatives work on my heating and cooling systems with Samson & Sons. They genuinely care about their customers and go over and above to explain the work they’re doing. Highly ethical. There are so many HVAC companies out there, but you won’t regret choosing this one.

  • Super impressed with this business. My husband and I had been trying to have our AC maintenance and tuned up and we had three other companies cancel on us same day. Jaylin showed up within the time frame that was quoted, he was professional and knowledgeable, took care of all of our maintenance. There were no hidden fees or miscommunications. You really can’t ask for more than that. We will continue to use this business for all of our AC and heating needs and will highly recommend to anyone in the market!

  • I called Samson and Sons to diagnose my AC that had stopped running. The owner and his son came out the same day to troubleshoot the system. They found two faulty parts, a transformer and a capacitor, and got both replaced for me. The AC is now working great again. They provided a detailed explanation of the problem along with photos. I felt the repair price was very reasonable. Both guys were very friendly, and I'd would definitely call them again if I need future HVAC work done. Highly recommend!

  • For about the last 3 years or so I've had Samson and Sons do my yearly summer service on my AC, I staryed with them because the tech they sent always did a real thorough job.Recently they disassembled the entire unit and cleaned it. The techs they sent arrived early and finished the job in about 4 hours, both guys were very professional and did a great job, my AC unit works great and is putting out ice cold air.If you're looking for an honest reliable Hvac business I strongly recommend Samson and Sons.

  • I can’t say enough good things about Samson and Sons and especially technician Dylan Gooding. The company has always treats me right and Dylan is the ultimate professional. He takes the time to explain things and show me the issues with pictures. He’s taken care of helping me extend the life of an older AC in lieu of my forking out $12k- $15k fora new one. I used to hire people fora living in my old company. Dylan is exactly the type of person I would have hired back in the day in a heartbeat. Cheers!

  • Jaylin never disappoints me at my home! Very kind & thorough! Dylan is also excellent! They both have been to my home, never tried to upsell me anything that wasn’t needed, and even did paperwork to bill a replacement part under warranty. Thanks for being an honest, faith-based, family owned company I can count on!

  • My A/C worked better before they fixed it, they never supplied the information I requested and they get angry if I ask them to check they did the work properly.

  • We had what turned out to be a tricky problem to diagnose and repair. Another provider just offered to install a new unit at 5x our original purchase price. Your technicians were thorough and professional and clearly knew their business. Then, when it became clear it was going to be a difficult repair, there was no upsell. I asked about replacing the unit instead and was provided with that information, no one tried to push me in to it. Absolutely 10/10, we've already planned to bring them back to look at our central AC next. Fabulous work.

  • We could not be any happier with the service provided by the staff at Samson and Sons. From the first phone call with Tyler to the service call with Kyle, we felt confident that Samson and Sons was the right choice. Thank you for faithfully providing stellar service in all areas.

  • I felt like the person knew exactly what they were talking about and they explained everything to me in detail and I was much more impressed with the knowledge that he possessed then any of the other companies that came out just gave me a quote

    Timothy E.

  • Would definitely recommend this company. Very courteous customer service, always on time and excellent service. Jaylin did an excellent job!!

    Glenda C.

  • Dylan and Jeremy worked late into a Friday night to get us up and cooling. Samson service has been great!

    Jim L.

  • Called early morning because AC went out! They were able to fit me into their already busy schedule and fix the problem! Had AC that day! Very happy with the response and communication letting me know there arrival time! Thank you BA

  • A class act! I asked Samson & Sons to bid on replacing my ancient AC unit and was impressed with all the staff throughout the whole process. The guy working up the bid was informative, talked to me about my options, thoroughly examined the old systems, including the air intakes and duct-work, and I got a reasonable bid quickly, which included various options along with excellent warranties. I appreciated their honesty and that they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary equipment or services. Office staff were easy to reach and knowledgeable. They were able to schedule the job fairly quickly. The guys sent to install the system were courteous, consulted with me on various aspects of the install, and finished the job early. Chris, who directed the installation, walked me through all the completed work, which was thorough, professional, and attentive to detail and improved the previous set-up. He even repaired a small hole in the roof that had been under the old AC system that I didn’t know was there. He answered all my questions regarding warranty and maintenance, and showed me how to program the thermostat. The new unit is quiet and cooling beautifully. Very pleased with the professionalism of this company. Highly recommended.

  • Kyle was very knowledgeable on heating and cooling, showcasing a clear understanding of HVAC history (required for our somewhat older HVAC system haha)!! Very responsive to questions, and even answered questions on a DIY project we were working on! Most importantly, very easy to talk to and great around pets :D Top notch service!!

    Samuel K.

  • Thomas and Jeff came out the day after we called. They were professional and honest and went out of their way to talk to my husband on the phone to let him know the services needed. They were very kind to me and leg me know exactly what they were doing. We have had a contract with Samson and donx got a c maintainence and after e years with them we will never use another company. Thank you for the above and beyond service

  • This firm provided the key factors for me: Honesty, Competence, and Personable and Knowledgeable technicians. We tried 4 AC firms, and only Samson figured out why our central air shut down randomly and occasionally. Others told us freon or wanted to experiment with changing parts to see if they could figure the cause. Samson's technician found the cause (some loss of insulation on the motor) and said we might have 2 or more years left on it and didn't rush us to replacing the motor. The honesty part! This saved us from an $1100 charge for experimentation with other parts suggested by another firm.

  • Dylan and Jeremy from Samson and Son’s were excellent. I will be using them for any problems or issues I have with any of my A/C units moving forward. They fixed a longstanding issue on caused by a faulty installation by another heating/cooling company. The mini-split unit I had them evaluate now works better than it's ever worked before.

    Fred G.

  • I would highly recommend Samson & Sons. They are professional and honest. Alex spent time explaining different options to consider and even recommended another company for a project that was outside their service area.

  • Dylan and Jeremy are great, highly recommend Samson and Sons!

  • We've been using Samson for years. Their techs are very knowledgeable. Pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend.
