• We highly recommend working with Summit. Mark came out early in 2025 to help us understand our options (size, placement, gas/electric, etc.) for replacing an old system. It took over 6 months for us to resolve other house changes to make room for the new HVAC. Mark never pressured or pushed us and quickly updated our options when we were finally ready. • Got recommended to Summit from a friend and after reading the reviews decided to call them for an intermittent A/C problem. They showed up but could not find anything wrong and recommended we call them again when there was a problem. Called them twice after that but they said could not come because they were busy. Ended up calling a different company and they found out what the problem was very quickly. Ended up replacing the unit. Would not recommend Summit to anyone. Would give them 0 stars but minimum is 1.

• Summit Cooling and Heating recently replaced a 17 year old heat pump system at my home. They did an excellent job and I'm very happy with all aspects of their work. I would certainly use Summit again. Before selecting Summit to perform the work, I received quotes from other service providers. Summit's owner visited my home and thoroughly analyzed my Tucson specific cooling and heating requirements. He provided a very detailed explanation of the recommended work and answered all my questions. He offered numerous options to replace the system; however, I wasn't pushed towards a particular solution. Summit's written quote proved to be both the least expensive and best value solution. No attempt was made to add services or additional costs after we accepted the quote. Summit's two-man installation crew was very skilled. All work was professionally performed and they showed me how to operate the new system. They kindly answered questions about a second HVAC system at my house that had nothing to do with the install work under contract. Summit provided me with the promised 10 year warranty in a timely manner and remains responsive to my calls. I'm confident they will standby their work as time passes. I am very pleased Summit Cooling and Heating.

• I had an 18-year-old unit, decided to replace it before it was an emergency. I had three companies out, I was shopping for expertise first Price second . Summit cooling was recommended by a friend after I expressed my dissatisfaction with Costco and the other proposals which I had received. Mark came out and his proposal was comprehensive. He spoke to me in layman‘s terms to help me understand options and make an educated decision. The paperwork he left me to go over was very informative. So I hired summit to do the job. These guys are practicing their craft at a high-level. His son Tyler was the lead man on the installation professional and attention to detail. Mark said he would come and service the mini split in my Arizona room when the job was complete no charge . He came to service the mini and pick up his check I had left for him .When I returned home there was a note on the counter with the check . I was being credited with $489 for cash discount. This new system replaced a 15 yo Carrier unit which was over-sized and getting a bit cranky. Mark took the time to ask questions and find out what type of system we wanted.
