The serviceman arrived on time and checked both a/c units. His work was done in a very businesslike manner. I would be happy for him to come again. Cruz was thorough and answered all my questions.

Luis and Coby recently came by to do a maintenance check on my system. Both were very professional, respectful and easy to talk to. The company recently changed owners and upgraded their procedures. They listed things I should look out for in the future and provided pictures/videos of our unit. Luis and Coby did a great job and left my house clean after their work. I would highly recommend their services.

Great experience with everything from the minute I called Kings Aire till Josh the technician left. The response was fast and the price was right. Josh was absolutely 💯 great! Josh was very courteous, clean and professional throughout. Josh explained everything in detail. Answered all my questions without hesitation. Josh is absolutely a great example of how an employee who works for a great company should be. Thank you Josh. Keep up the great work 👍

I am updating my review from 5 stars to 1. I had been a loyal customer for a couple of years. Two technicians came out to my house a couple of days ago and told me my AC unit could not be turned on again because it was a hazard. Which I understand was logical, at the time, since it was leaking. They claimed to have checked the pipes and stated that I did not have clogged pipes. They were here about half an hour. I had somebody else come in and within five minutes, my AC was on and the clog was drained.

First, I'd like to thank Gloria who I spoke to about our A/C trouble and for being so timely with getting our appointment reasonably quick. Second, the two technicians that attended the service call, Joshua and Steven, were very professional, polite and considerate. They didn't try to pressure my dad and I into something that we could barely afford, they understood this so well that the repairs they did remained in a reasonable price range for my dad and I. Moreover, they also brought to our attention that our heating system is in need of big repair and replacement(s) and, at first, I was hesitant to even believe the situation BUT after speaking with their supervisor, Albi who was polite and understanding with informing us of the heating situation with my dad and I and the options thereof, plus the professional and considerate service they provided us, our business and money will remain with King's Aire. A big thank you too Gloria, Joshua, Steven and Albi.

Louie and Cruz were polite and explained thoroughly what the problem was. They were able to fix the current problem and let us know about another major problem that we had and what needs to be monitored and taken care of at a later date. Kings Aire was able to come next day to help us where other companies couldn’t schedule for several days.

Very knowledgeable and informative. Included me in the process so I was aware of what was happening overall. Was patient with my ignorance and had no problems explaining things in way for me to understand. Great service. :)

Sept 11 2026 was day my AC died after more than 15 years. I came home from med appt to 91 degree home. Called as soon as I read thermostat. This time of year is so busy I know. I was expecting someone to come out with my health problems being an issue. 24 hrs I had to wait. Tech checked and it was indeed dead( muerta). They tried very diligently to revive the old boy. They could not, they showed me all the areas affected no fake BS (AI). I knew I would have to get new unit. They had warned me months before that they didn't know how much longer it would go. In hind sight I should have done it then(replace). Money is not the problem nor do I feel they were BS'ing me. Kudos to Albie and Luis and Carla for checking on me to make sure I was ok. I am a 73 yo Retired Army female and DAV, with multiple health problems I am not nor have been taken advantage of in any way. They went above in checking on me, not all companies will do that. My system is being installed as I type. When you really can see with your own eyes that something needs replaced or in need do it. I won't put it off again I may be a tuff old broad but I'm not stupid. Yes things don't always go the way you like and your opinion is your right. I trust kings Aire simple as that my opinion. Again Thank you Carla, Albie, and Luis.

Bad Communication and Ridiculously Overpriced I try to support local family businesses, which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1, but my experience with them was terrible. The red flags started early: they went to the wrong house, arrived late, and nobody would answer the phone. When the technician finally checked my residential unit, he claimed I had no warranty coverage left and handed me a $4,500 repair quote—including $2,900 just to swap out a motor that retails for around $350. They are charging standard homeowners like it's a massive commercial job. When I refused the service, the story suddenly changed, and they magically discovered my system was still covered under warranty after all. I ended up buying the $350 motor, watched a couple of YouTube tutorials, and fixed the issue myself. To make matters worse, when I tried to call to discuss how I felt ripped off, they sent me straight to voicemail and never bothered to return my calls. Poor communication, shady pricing tactics, and zero accountability.

I’ve been a customer of Kings Air for years, so I’ve always had a good level of trust in the company. Unfortunately, my most recent experience left me very disappointed. I called them to diagnose an issue with my A/C unit, which is not that old. The technician inspected the unit and told me, in a very confident manner, that the unit was essentially done and that I needed a new one. Shortly afterward, a “sales” representative came out and tried to get me to purchase a new system. Something didn’t feel right, especially considering the age of my unit, so I decided to get a second opinion from another A/C company. They inspected the system and found that all it needed was refrigerant. The unit did NOT need to be replaced. I’m glad I took the time to get a second opinion because I could have easily spent thousands of dollars replacing a system that simply needed a relatively minor repair. I’m not sure what has changed at Kings Air—whether it’s new management, new policies, or a different approach to sales—but something definitely feels different from the company I’ve trusted for years. My advice to other customers: If Kings Air tells you that you need a new A/C system, get a second opinion before spending thousands of dollars. I’m very disappointed that a company I’ve used for years has left me questioning whether their recommendations are truly focused on the customer’s best interest.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank Miss Mayra for always taking such great care of me, my home, and my business, Respiratory & Medical Homecare. We called in today, and she was so attentive and helpful. She got us scheduled right away, and I really appreciate her excellent customer service. Also, if it’s not too much to ask, would it be possible to have Mr. Ramon come out to my properties next time? I’d be more than happy to pay extra for his service. He’s an excellent technician, and I truly appreciate the great work he does!

Dirty scoundrals, they sent technicians to my house for a promotional check and maintenance, said i had leaks on my hvac system evap coils and compressor was going bad. Said i needed to replace my system. They were trying to charge me 15K. I had a second opinion come who said there was no leaks, plugged the cables back in and even made my ac working better than before. Highly recommend alamo hvac llc over these thieves. Dishonest, would rate 0/5 if possible

DO NOT CALL KINGS AIRE for AC repairs. They came to do a maintenance inspection and told me that I needed to replace the coil and that I would have carbon monoxide issues. The repair was going to cost $6,000, supposedly. I called to have 3 other estimates and they had new pictures of our unit with nothing wrong. The pictures Kings Aire showed us were not from our unit. There was nothing wrong with our unit. The other companies were appalled that we were lied to. They apologized on their behalf. Also, my dad had also called them to check his unit and they said he needed a new unit costing $16,000. When I heard the news, I again called for 3 other estimates and, AGAIN, there was nothing wrong with the unit. It just had to be cleaned. Please be aware. Some of their technicians are scammers. When I called to complain, they fired the general manager instead of the lying technicians they have. It's sad that they run their business this way. Please stay away from Kings Aire or at least get a second opinion.

Louis recently serviced our residential air conditioning. He was professional and methodical in his work. We would like to keep him as our serviceman- as needed.

Had them come out to check our hvac unit since it wasn’t cooling. They replaced our drier filter and it worked well for about a week and a half. We paid a significant amount for that repair. They came back out and said the unit had a leak and they wanted to charge us more (another significant amount) to detect where the leak was because they said they couldn’t find it. So we were without an AC for the majority of this hot summer. We had to save up money before we could have this repaired. We called another company to come check the unit and turns out the leak was from where Kings Aire had replaced the drier filter. Unfortunate that they didn’t catch that the leak was from the work they previously did and wanted to charge us more money.

UPDATE 2 - 8/7/26: A technician, Louie, did come by afterhours yesterday. Unfortunately it was stormy outside so he couldn't do the maintenance inspection. He came back this morning as promised to do the maintenance. He and his supervisor Chris also spoke with me about the frustrating experience yesterday and offered an additional year of comfort club me for free. Whether I will take them up on it or not is still undecided on my part. And as always the front desk ladies I have spoken with (Carla, Gloria) and their techs (Louie & the guys who had come over for service before) are really nice. Based on all these factors I have amended my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I rely heavily on reviews and ratings when choosing a business so I want to offer the same to others who are looking for the same. I feel like this is the fair position I'm at right now about Kings Aire. I am as yet undecided whether I will do business with them again. But at least they did take some steps to rectify the atrocious customer service experience from yesterday, so kudos for that. UPDATE - 8/6/26: I can not in good conscience recommend this company anymore, so my review is going from 5 star to 1 star. Last time they were here we were offered a pre-paid service called Comfort Club, which, among other things, includes bi-annual maintenance visits. We accepted and paid $300+ for it and they did the maintenance check of our system in addition to the original service. Last week I scheduled today for the second maintenance visit. I was given a time window of 8am-4pm, and was told that the technician will call me half an hour ahead. At the time of scheduling I explained that I work swing & night shifts, and am going out of town next week so I have very limited days available for this maintenance visit before my travels. I rearranged my week to keep today free as per their scheduled visit. At 3.30 I called the office because nobody had called me to tell me anything, and nobody had shown up. They were really dismissive - the condescending "I understand your frustration" routine - and I will admit I got heated (I didn't cuss them out or throw out f-bombs, but I did say something like what's the bloody point of paying ahead for this comfort club membership if they can't provide the bloody service on schedule). Basically the gist of what I was told is they will get to it when they can unless I want to pay $97ish Service Call fee for a guaranteed time slot. So the takeaway - Don't get the Comfort Club membership. They treat you like dirt once they take your money. If you really want to do business with them just call for a service and pay the fee. For myself, I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Our heater/thermostat was acting up so, with snow on the forecast for the following week, we called Kings Aire. The lady I spoke to on the phone, Carla, was super friendly and set up an appointment for a date/time that worked for me. Their technician called me ahead of the visit on the date scheduled, and they came by on time. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue fairly easily and efficiently and I asked them to do additional seasonal maintenance as well, which they did. Overall this was a very positive experience for us and we would gladly work with Kings Aire again as well as recommend them.

My air conditioner went out so I made an appointment with kings aire. I waited all day from 8-4, had to call them to find out they would need to reschedule. You can do better.

This AC company sprayed WD40 for a problem that didn't require it. It permeated all throughout the unit of my friend's house who has cancer. A simple oil to lubricate the bearings was all that was needed. Then the company attempts to act as if they are in the right by saying that they did over $1000 of repairs. Creating a problem that didn't exists doesn't constitute "repairs." For those reading this review....stay away from these big name companies and hire an independent HVAC individual. They will do the work right because it's their reputation at stake. Kings Aire has gone downhill since their takeover by another company. My friend spoke with the manager Alb. Fernandez who didn't give a single iota that their inexperienced, incompetent technician created a huge mess for my friend.

My AC went out that they installed. They told me it was a motor it would take 3 to 5 days. This was on a Tuesday. I called back on Monday just to check on the motor then they tell me it’s Going to be 5 to 10 days and then they tell me oh it’s because new management yada yada yada a customer doesn’t want to hear new management and so forth they just especially in this heat you want your AC fixed. I call again today, Friday to check on the motor. They said they’re supposed to receive it today and most likely will do it on Monday. Yet another weekend, two whole weeks of no air 100° in the house this is unacceptable.

Jesse took a late call to come out and fix my AC. He was super helpful, thorough, and transparent through the whole repair. If I need any repair in the future I will certainly be asking for hin again.

Unfortunately I am having to cancel my membership with this company. I had an 8am-noon scheduled appt. I called at 10:30 am to be sure the appt was still scheduled. I was assured it was while stating the tech was at a call before me and I was next. I received no further communication. I attempted another call after 12pm just to have to leave a message. I still didn't receive a call back. The tech called just before 1pm just say he was behind. I explained to not come out anymore and that I was still waiting for a call from the main office. After finally getting a call back, there was no offer to fix the issue or any care of the situation from either the office or the tech. I had recommended this company to others in the past, and for this to be the outcome after almost 5 years, I regret the recommendations....
