• Thank you Brian & Lighter Living! We had central AC installed by Brian at 2 of our houses and both jobs were excellent. Brian is clean, organized, polite and listens carefully. He walked us through the consultation providing an in-depth explanation of our best options for equipment, installation, and day to day living based on our needs. When it came time to install the AC, Brian and his team were so polite and clean in our home throughout the process, which we really appreciated! He walked us through how to change the filters, what maintenance should look like, how to use the thermostat and the supporting app that connects to it and answered any other questions that we had. After the AC was installed, we noticed that our upstairs wasn’t getting as much AC as the downstairs. Brian let us know it was most likely due to our original registers blocking airflow, and that by installing new ones, we would feel a difference. WOW! What a difference that made. It was like night and day. He ordered the registers for us and came back to install them, and it felt like our AC had been supercharged. We are so happy with our AC and will definitely use Brian and Lighter Living for any upcoming AC needs and we recommend him to our friends and family. Thanks again!

• I don't leave reviews very often but I am compelled to write this one because the the experience I had with Brian was beyond exceptional. I have been plagued with AC issues over the years. Turns out my installation was botched in a few different ways so it never worked quite right. I've been advised that repairing a leaking evaporator would be a difficult and expensive task with no guarantees it could be fixed. After a chat with Brian he was convinced it could be fixed and at a very resonabpe price. Indeed he had it repaired in a matter of minutes. What truly blew me away was his approach to making sure everything was done right. After evacuating the system so the repair could be made, he spent quite awhile pressure and vacuum testing the system to make sure, down to the micron, that there was no more leak. He then spent hours fine tuning and slowly adding refrigerant back making sure the system was not only in spec, but running as optimally as possible. The equipment he uses to monitor several variables simultaneously and get an overview of system health was pretty cool. I could tell he genuinely cared about the outcome of his service and it shows in both the quality of work and attention to detail when testing the system. The way he explained what he was doing and why shows a true mastery of his craft. Where many other techs would have stopped hours earlier after the system was blowing cold air, Brian went way above and beyond to make sure my system wasn't just working but working perfectly!

• Brian came and diagnosed an intermittent issue with my unit. Given the unit is over 30yrs old and will need to replaced in the near future, he was able to repair the unit and save the expense of replacing the unit at this time. We both know it's only a matter of time that it will come to that. Overall, Brian was very helpful and took the time to explain what was occurring. I was pleased with his honesty and no pressure sale into replacing the unit immediately and leaving knowing what up against. • My friend "Murphy" decided to show up on one of the hottest days during this most recent heatwave we had in San Diego. It just so happens I was hosting my sisters and their family with children in tow. Needless to say, as Murphy's law goes, what can go wrong will go wrong. And it did.
