• New Rise Heating & Cooling are life savers! Amir and OCL went above and beyond to fix our failed system that had a major refrigerant leak that left us without AC. We had used a home warranty company that sent out four different AC techs, each telling us something different (the drain, faulty valve, unit is not meant to operate more than 20 degrees less than the outside temperature, it's the unusual heat...). Our new AC unit had been installed a couple of years before, but the warranty service connected it to the old 40-year-old line which apparently had the leak all along. Amir also pointed out our unit did not have a P-trap installed in our AC drain system and so all the other techs missed it. Our AC filters were getting wet and folding up inside the unit until New Rise fixed it. None of the other AC groups even mentioned it. Amir and OCL even worked late into the night to make sure we had AC and we could tell they really cared about our needs. I recommend New Rise and we are very happy to sign up with them for further maintenance in the future. Highly recommended. 5 Star and Above and Beyond Service.

I requested a quote for some additional work, after days of nothing i asked for a quote that came soon after but it was way high so I asked for a break down to figure out what we might want to do now and what we might wait on. No response so we are now moving on.

• Great same-day service from Amir K. My condenser unit died due to fire ants, and it needed new electronics and capacitor to replace my 7 year old components for good measure. Amir was knowledgeable, to the point, no fuss, and professional. He was even able to come by 2 hours earlier than scheduled, and gave some advice on preventative maintenance. NewRise does cost a little more for the fast response (and I went for a warranty extension). But, in the summer heat, don't chance the heatstroke. Stay cool out there folks. Update: We had another followup condenser problem that Osiel M worked on for us, free of charge. Update 2: Unfortunately, my 2 applications of ant poison were not sufficient, and there were still some fire ants nearby causing problems with the contact switch, just over a week later. While I paid just a little extra for 6 month warranty, the electrical components covered by the warranty did not include the electric contact switch, so I was charged $395 on the third visit for a $50-$100 part, plus labor and same-day service (once again within 2 hours of calling, in the Texas heat). I have reduced my review from 5 to 4 stars because the warranty did not meet my expectations, but the service and speed were excellent. If I need immediate same day service in the future, I would still choose New Rise again. Update 3: The NewRise team called back to see what else they could do to help proof my system from my pest problems. It's rare to see a business do this rather than simply parting ways, so I have marked this back up to 5 stars.
