We had just purchased a new home and needed a furnace and an a/c. Reliance was easy to deal with, answered all our questions, and got us the best deal. They came out to our house shortly after our possession date and had the units installed quickly. The guys that came out cleaned up the work area and explained our new units to us. Trent has followed up with both me and my partner to ensure we are happy with the service and answer any additional questions.

Stupidly on my part, I originally considered using this company for a water heater and softener rental as part of a real estate transaction. Huge mistake. If you actually read their terms and conditions, you will be sorry to discover all the ridiculous hidden fees and cash grabs like $340 to remove a water softener rental, $40 to close your account, the absurd buyout costs, the terrible customer service (don't show up for scheduled appointments and no phone call), the "Housewarming" gift of 6 months free to rent old, unmaintained equipment (far from free), the 10 year contracts with zero maintenance. Do yourself a favour, don't even consider these guys. The sales people will try to suck you in with what you think is a good deal. It's not. You will find out far too late that you will pay in the end. If you want to hear over and over "it's in the term and conditions, available on our website" then by all means, roll the dice. In Regina, Reliance bought up a couple of local companies. Try Reliance Heath instead. I have used them for 20+ years and they are head and shoulders better. They have reasonable terms, only annual contracts and maintain the equipment. Do yourself a favour and run screaming for the hills from this terrible company.

They sent someone with limited skills to install my garage furnace, was not properly installed. They damaged the flooring and the aesthetic beauty of the vinyl siding in the process. I wouldn't recommend them. Find other capable professionals if you can.

The three technicians that came out to change our furnace, water heater, and install a water softener were great. They explained everything and area was cleaned up when they left. Fantastic job Reliance. Well I thought they explained everything but I guess not. Had a water softener, water heater and furnace installed. In February 2025. Installers had drain hoses going to drain in middle of room. They didn’t tell us water softener hose outputs lots of water when it runs. The hose flooded our basement 4/5 times. We thought water was coming in from outside for months until service tech came and showed us it was coming from water softener hoses. NOT impressed with reliance installers. We’ve had a flooded basement too many times and are stuck in contract for another 5 1/2 years. reliance doesn’t care.
