• Tried to set up the inspection for multiple properties in Halifax. I made an appointment for the first property and showed up at the time provided. I drove a ways to the property and waited there. When no one arrived, I called the company just to find out that they had a 2 hour window to arrive and they weren't going to be there any time soon. As I wasn't told about this, I had to cancel and when I went to reschedule, I was ghosted after repeated attempts and therefore I disregarded all future appointments for all the other properties. • Prestige Home Improvement in Dartmouth, NS is the absolute worst company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Initally they were very accommodating while making their sales pitch but now, after only12 months, that my heat pump has broken down they are extremely difficult to even contact. I made 10 attempts in over 4 days to contact them at their listed business number before someone actually answered my call. Promises were made to get back to me in a couple days with a date for my pump to be serviced. Now 3 weeks after making first contact with the company and speaking with 3 different people, all with the same promise to get back to me right away with a date for repairs, I have not heard back from any of them. I was asked if it was possible they could help me over the phone because it was a long way to come to Southwest Nova to service my pump. Apparently that was not an issue while in the sales and installation process but has become a problem now that repairs are required. I would strongly recommend that this company be avoided when considering a heat pump purchase. I gave 1 star in my review as it is the lowest possible rating but 0 stars would be a more fitting review. DO NOT buy a pump from this company.
