  • We needed our furnace/AC serviced and everything from scheduling to the maintenance was smooth and professional. Patrick talked us through a couple of things that needed repair, as well as providing options to make our unit more efficient. We never felt pressured or rushed. For the issues we chose to address, he had the parts available and was able to repair everything in one trip. We are repeat customers and this service solidified why we'll continue to use Ultimate for our furnace/AC needs.

  • If I could give a zero, I would. I had Ultimate Heating and Air out for a fall tune up on Friday. The guy was here for 4 hours, which I thought was very thorough. He quoted me over $6k in repairs. I passed. Before he left he said he would check the AC since it was fall but still 85 degrees. When I came home after being a kids sports all day Saturday I realized my AC was not working. When I called Ultimate, they have only AI agents, no real person. And although they say they provide 24/7 service. They do not. No live person, despite several attempts and the soonest they could come back was Monday. I found a local company to come out. The service technician discovered Ultimate had left wires unplugged in AC unit … AND they didn’t replace the filter in my heating unit despite my explicit conversation with the Ultimate technician about getting that done. Furthermore, the $6k quote of “must do” fixes from Ultimate were not needed. I am so disheartened companies like this exist. Do not use Ultimate Heating & Air unless you want shoddy work and a major upsell.

  • ALWAYS SHOP AROUND!! YOU DON’T HAVE TO SAY YES TO THEIR PRICES!! If you say yes and then complain that you got ripped off it’s YOUR fault. I live in Boise and I wanted a new condenser, compressor, and evaporator due to age of my current AC system. Heater and blower are new. My current system (38 years old) works but is old and I was looking at replacement before it left me in an emergency situation next summer. I got 4 quotes from different companies in the area. They ranged from $4000.00 to $13000.00. The Ultimate salesman (comfort specialist) named Zach came out and did a walkthrough and crawlspace and all of that. Great guy great job Zach is awesome. He then gave a quote of $13,000 for the replacement and $18,000 ($99.00 for 180 months) if I wanted to use their financing. I compared that to my quote of $4400.00 from a different company with Zach. It was the same equipment the same if not better warranty with no extra work, labor, parts, etc. He tried to negotiate said he would cut his commission and give me a lower price. He was not able to get anywhere close to it. This company is 100% preying on customers that don’t do their homework. I saved $9000.00 by not using Ultimate Heating and Air. I guess it is true that customers are paying for their nice trucks, commissions, advertising, and overhead. I do understand that every company has different vendors, labor rates, overhead etc.. but a $9000.00 difference is a complete rip off. If they are trying to rip people off in a non emergency situation I wonder what they charge when customers are in an emergency. UPDATE—As the owners response clearly makes my point that Customers are paying for their overhead costs.

  • I have had them service my hvac system for 4 or 5 year and everything someone came out they always tell me there is about 3000 dollars needed in repairs and always tell me I should upgrade my system when my furnace is only 8 years old if a furnace is only going to last 8 years according to them why service it what I don't understand is it somthing different each time that should be fix and you should upgrade just think that this is how they train there employees to sale you new furnace and that what they focus on that how I fill

  • This company does shady illegal install practices. They also lie to their customers try to upsell them on bigger systems. They don’t need they don’t have journeymen installing your system, even though they’re supposed to have a journeyman on site. Most of their leads are not journeyman so they’ve never been to school for this. They’re one of the more expensive companies and they’re installers are one of the worst in the valley. Meaning of ex employees have written reviews on them are done TikTok’s about their illegal plumbing practices or running gas pipes through ducks. I would avoid this company at all cost

  • Made an appointment and nobody could even bother to show up. No call or text to reschedule, no explanation just a complete no show to our appointment. I wasted an entire day, on my only day off to be available and they couldn’t bother.
