  • The very best service ! Trustworthy!

  • I trusted Joe and his company for 10 years and used his monthly maintenance plan. Joe uses a 4 tiered high pressure sales structure with the top tier for shock value as it often pushes the repair higher than the cost of a new unit. Quotes are delivered verbally by reading from a red tablet, providing an air of authenticity. My experience this year is as follows: - During maintenance in April '26 Joe found the coil on our 4 ton Goodman leaking. His top tier quote to repair was $10K with a 2 yr warranty down to his 4th tier "band-aid" offer was $4K with a 30 day warranty.. Like many people I made the decision in haste and trusted Joe. I later did some research on the cost to replace a coil and learned I had likely overpaid by at least $1500. I noted Joe's quote was for a new coil but his receipt made no mention of the coil replacement or what type or part number was used or the manufacturer. The discrepancy made me suspicious. - This August '26 my other 3.5 ton Carrier (that Joe sold/installed) also had a leak. I called Joe and he explained the visit would be $129 (not covered by my mo maintenance plan), and when on site he explained there would be another $600 charge to confirm the leak and provide a quote. Joe glossed over that fact that this coil was still under warranty and quoted a top tier repair quote of $11,900; 2nd tier quote of $10,900 and a bottom tier quote of $5500. Joe then pushed for an immediate answer to accept his quote - leveraging that if I delayed making a decision he'd go ahead and charge me the $729 that he'd otherwise waive. Given my concern for his charges in April I refused the work. I had another technician come in the next day and he confirmed it was under warranty and he charged me for labor and refrigerant only. The amount came to $1550 saving me almost $4000 over Joe's quote. I've since cancelled the maintenance plan and will not use Joe again. I would advise getting any quote(s) in writing; get a 2nd quote on anything that is higher priced and have another technician lined up so you don't feel any pressure to make a decision in haste as I did in April.

  • I couldn’t recommend Joe enough. We had a different person out from another company two previous times and we still had issues. This time we arrived back in our condo after a long trip and the air-conditioning was broken again, I looked up Joe’s company and he had fantastic ratings so I called at 10 o’clock at night and was able to book an appointment. He arrived at 9 o’clock the next day right on time. He was able to assess the situation and the problem and fix it. The level of integrity and honesty and fairness in his pricing is unmatched from what I can find. We had air-conditioning working on one of the hottest days in Orlando a few hours later. I can’t recommend him in his company enough

  • Joe Lippens and Vortechs Heating and Air are the BEST A/C company out there. Don’t wait till your AC dies. Call them now to get your system checked out! You won’t be disappointed. Been using them for 9 years now with total satisfaction.

  • They showed up on time and preformed inspection. Didn't try to sell me on anything that I didn't need. It's nice to deal with a company that isn't just about increasing their revenue and is looking out for customers. I will certainly use them again.

  • Vortech wanted several thousand dollars to fix our aging system, but would not replace it, nor refer us to someone else. We called a larger local competitor and had a new HVAC the next day. We would prefer to keep our money within the College Park neighborhood, but instead wasted $129.99 for the service charge. Vortech should probably not have asked for feedback.

  • I thought I had the beginnings of a/c problems. Joe explained very clearly that all is working properly. I'm very happy with Vortech's service. I've had them for several years. Even in this extremely hot, humid weather, Joe is pleasant & always smiling. AND he's always on time!

  • Joseph does a great job explaining everything.

  • Joe showed up, did some work, and got my system temporarily running—but the lack of transparency, poor communication, upselling without detail, and unprofessional behavior outweigh the positives. I was initially optimistic when I got a next-day appointment and the tech (Joe, the owner) arrived early. He explained what he was doing, which I appreciated—but the experience quickly went downhill. When he found a leaking coil, he refused to quote the repair, saying it wasn’t worth it. That decision isn’t his to make. As a paying customer, I should’ve been given the option and the numbers. Instead, he pushed a vague 6-month refrigerant refill deal based on assumptions, without providing any clear breakdown of costs, parts, or unit specs. No mention of tonnage, features—just generic sales talk. Plus, he claimed a new unit could arrive "hopefully this month (May) but the factory is saying AUGUST". Not great for the Florida summer! To make it worse, my last impression was him complaining about past clients he didn’t like dealing with. Not professional. After he left, I got a basic invoice—no diagnosis, no details, no pricing per pound of refrigerant. When I asked for a diagnosis to use for a second opinion, I was dismissed with a text saying the invoice was sent. I did get a second opinion from Kalos, and the difference was night and day. I received detailed quotes, real options, and full transparency—exactly what should have happened the first time. My new unit was installed within 48-hours, not 2-4 months! I regret buying into the 6-month refill package, which admittedly I did out of desperation to get my air back on but also believing a new unit would take months to install. I wouldn’t recommend Vortech. Summary: • Refused to quote key repair cost. • Pushed vague, overpriced service plan. • No clear unit specs or breakdowns. • Vague invoice and diagnosis. • Unprofessional and negative tone. • Found far better service elsewhere.

  • AC needed a simple top up. Vortech tech came out and quoted 3 outrageously expensive options ranging from $4300 to $1200. Declined and had the unit service by another company for $207.

  • We have been customers of Vortechs Heating & Air for many years now! They are friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and (sometimes most importantly) they are fast! A/C’s don’t go out when you don’t need them! Joe and the team are always great at keeping us in the loop and being fair. Not only do we recommend Vortechs, but we will continue to do business with them as well. Thank you Vortechs!!!

  • Joseph is really friendly and very knowledgeable. I’m a very satisfied customer. Definitely will keep using Vortechs. Highly recommended!

  • Vortechs Heating and Air's technicians are smart and they are there to help you. They have an indepth understand of building science and they use their knowledge in a positive way. They don't try to scare people into buying things they don't need. If they say something needs fixed, it needs fixed. If you're worried about something that is normal and doesn't need fixed, they explain why it's normal and why you don't need to worry about it. It's honestly better than a psychiatrist.

  • Very happy to have chosen Vortechs for my air conditioner. They were very prompt in getting someone out to fix the problem. Joe was very thorough in his explanation in what caused the unit to stop working and the steps that were needed to get it going again. He took the time to show me how to easily work the thermostat, which I have always hated and how to maintain the handler for optimum performance. Felt like I was in good hands.

  • We are very happy with the repair service on our A/C. Joseph is great!!!

    Mark D.

  • Great service as always. Joe goes above and beyond and works on our home as if it were his own. Happy customer for many years and will continue to use and recommend the Vortechs team.

  • I put in a request for service 5 days in advance expecting to be first thing in the morning today. I called at 11:00am to tell them that this is not acceptable. The person on the phone said that he called me and left messages. He absolutely did not call my number and the excuse for being late was weak at best. I cancelled and called Rainaldi. They are much more reliable.

    Freddie C.

  • Joe was great! Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, super patient detailing our options. Zero pressure to upsell us on anything, simply laid out the info and let us decide. Very pleased with our service!

  • Excellent communication from the office, and on-site service was excellent by Joseph, and I believe, Lincoln. Very professional, great communication and very thorough in assessing the problem and resolving it. They installed my split AC unit back in 2019, which is why I called them to repair an issue it was having. Two thumbs up!!
